@alonzam99

Then it might be better to raise that value to what I have in config.cfg, BUT a better solution
is to use the zoom function to get closer to the right mirror. I use headtracking and have made
a change to how near I can lean towards both the mirrors in order to see better when reversing!
I use opentrack with aruco marker and the game detect is as "opentrack"
and I have 6 DOF but I only get a little zoom. the other axis work great (YAW, PITCH, ROLL X, Y) and the problem is only with the z (zoom) (I only get a little zoom.
in the game when I zoom it is also zoom a little bit

@alonzam99

This is how it looks when I am using the headtracking to zoom or lean towards the mirrors!

It is nothing you can fix in opentrack, mate. You have to change two lines in a file
called controls.sii which you will find in every profile you use. These two lines:

Code: Select all

 config_lines[239]: "mix headtrx `clamp(sel(trackiron, trackirx, 0) + sel(eyeposon, eyeposx, 0), -0.25, 0.7) + sel(hmdon, hmdx, 0)`"
  config_lines[241]: "mix headtrz `clamp(sel(trackiron, trackirz, 0) + sel(eyeposon, eyeposz, 0), -0.35, 0.05) + sel(hmdon, hmdz, 0)`"
Note, it's not sure the numbers of the lines are the same!

@olaf28 - I can give you a 100% width and 70% height? That'll be a ultra wide view instead of 4:3 or 16:9, black bar top and bottom.
Pixel count would be 1344000 compared to V3=1451520 & V4=1347840
Thanks. An other version to try :D ...
Just give me time to test

Smaller view 3 - Has image full height and 70% width (black bar left and right)
Smaller view 4 - Has image full height and 65% width (black bar left and right)
Smaller view 5 - Has image full height and 60% width (black bar left and right)

@BenganJ - Strange discovery.

Edit the file:
normalized_x: 0.000000
normalized_y: 0.000000
normalized_width: 0.900000 <--- change width.
normalized_height: 1.000000
This means screen image will be 90% width and 100% height.
Check game = no AA. Still not strange.
@JHTrucker
If I read this, does that mean that with versions 3, 4 and 5 with the width adjusted, you don't have AA?

yes I found the right numbers. but I wondering how real truckers can see the "co-driver" mirror cuz they can't zoom into the mirror and it is too far to see it clearly

olaf28 - All my files on here have AA enabled, that's the point. That example you picked up on was my strange discovery with 1 image on screen. If you look in the "smaller files" 1-7 they all have 5 monitors, 1 main image then 3 dummies and 5th AA.Enabler. AA.Enabler has to be the 5th monitor and is full screen but un-rendered, always no matter how big your actual image is (smaller).
If AA.Enabler is monitor 2,3 or 4 then we get a memory leak and game will crash. So we can't use 2 monitors to get AA. We need always 5 for smaller single/double/triple/quad. Standard STEP 2 Single.AAv4 is full screen and gets AA because of that. Smaller single/double/triple/quad setups, none of them have full screen images as standard and no AA... until i worked out a way.
Smaller 8 however, is just 1 monitor using my discovery that width at 100% and lower height also gives AA.
Hope that sounds right for you. Enjoy your testing and pick one or i'll give you some more!

The mirrors are quite BIG and you can see an wide angle in them. The game is not real in this matter.
There is the dead-angle when a car is next to your door, but this is why you check very often the mirrors to be informed about what is happening around you.
And, going mostly on the first lane you dont have to care alot about the right side.
