Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
New videocard had arrived.
For all my games a great improvement.
For ETS2/ATS:
Tried several setups.
1. All settings from this post.
2. No NPI, standard gamesettings ultra.
3. No NPI changes, minor changes in game setting.
There is almost no difference in quality/framerate so I stick to standard settings. That way I don't need to change NPI every driver update.
Now I play with all ultra and max settings in game with 300% scaling.
Only setting in config is mirror distance at 900.
With my old card there was a difference in quality/framerate. So the settings in this post really help if you have an older videocard.

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
@Gravesteyn
Thanks for the report, but I choose to disagree totally!
1. This alt. is superior!
2. At least a level worse!
3. Definitely worse!
And you DON''T have to change NPI every driver update!!!! Export the settings and the ONLY thing
you will have to do is import them again and Apply changes!!!!
But it's your environment, you decide, no problem for me about that! :D

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
@Gravesteyn - For what it's worth...
With my poor old GTX760 @ 3840x1024
Standard - Scaling 400% ultra - unplayable FPS (~26), but as a test i can still see objects shimmer & flicker whilst driving and looking left/right.
Forcing 4xMSAA + 4xSGSS - Scaling 100% ultra (no smaa) - unplayable FPS (~28), but there's no shimmer & flicker whilst driving and looking left/right.
The AA stops (reduces) the shimmer & flicker on lamp posts, sign posts, fences, road markings etc.

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
Hello,
could I have have a question about to turn on Transparency Multisampling to the current settings? Inspector offers additional options when you open Show unknown settings. If I switched on Trans.Mult. (
with a choice of options that hopefully will have the least impact) then stopped flashing effect on trees in version 1.37 beta
Unfortunately, I'm currently on a weak PC so I can't assess the impact on TSSGS.
If the question is outside, please delete :-)
Thanks

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
Multi Monitor AA Version 4 - For Double and Triple setups only. Quad can't be improved.
Triple.AAv3 was quick released to fix the memory leak that Triple.AAv2 caused.
Having now looked again at my v3 fix, i can see a better way to achieve it that also gains a few more FPS.
Test setup using afterburner to monitor FPS and memory usage.
GTX760 3840x1024 4xMSAA + 4xSGSS 8gb 64bit mode:
From current parked position in game world.
Start game - in cab view / no driving, just parked - check FPS.
Single.AA file - 31 FPS.
Triple.AAv1 file - 12 FPS.
Triple.AAv2 file - 25 FPS.
Triple.AAv3 file - 22 FPS.
Triple.AAv4 file - 25 FPS.
Whilst V4 isn't a massive gain, 3 FPS, it's still a 12% increase over V3 and should still help high end setups currently running around 55 FPS to hit the magic 60 FPS.
Double.AA.v4 has an increase of 20%.
No memory leaks discovered after an hour of driving.
There's no config.cfg changes.
Just re-download the required file from STEP 2 for the new V4 optimised file.

Multi Monitor Version 5 AA - Setup guide (Updated for V5 10/04/2020)
Version 4 AA explained - viewtopic.php?p=17367#p17367
Example: GTX1080ti 5760x1200 4xMSAA + 4xSGSS @ ~60 FPS (Forum member Foxman).
SCS PREREQUISITES
Only multimon configurations which are presented to the game as a single big resolution virtual screen are supported. You need to be using either Nvidia Surround or TH2GO. The large resolution created by nvidia surround or TH2GO is your in game resolution.
Bezel correction:
Use Nvidia Surround and select bezel management and adjust to suit.
Ensure you use the bezel corrected resolution as the in game resolution.
Or edit the multimon_config.sii with these example settings:-
With the multimon_config.sii file you've downloaded from STEP 2:
Edit the file with notepad to suit your setup for FOV and bezel correction.
Note: All having FOV 0.000000 will enable in game zoom feature and then FOV is set in game F4 menu.
Triple example:
monitor_config : _nameless.Center.AA {
heading_offset: 0.000000 <--------------Don't change
horizontal_fov_override: 60.000000 <- set to your value or 0.000000
monitor_config : _nameless.Left.AA {
heading_offset: 3.500000 <------------- My Bezel (4.0 moves closer to center / 3.0 away)
horizontal_fov_override: 60.000000 <- set to your value or 0.000000
monitor_config : _nameless.Right.AA {
heading_offset: -3.500000 <------------ My Bezel (-4.0 moves closer to center / -3.0 away)
horizontal_fov_override: 60.000000 <- set to your value or 0.000000
monitor_config : _nameless.Dummy {
heading_offset: -0.000000 <------------ Don't change
horizontal_fov_override: 0.000000 <-- Don't change
monitor_config : _nameless.AA.Enabler {
heading_offset: 0.000000 <------------- Don't change
horizontal_fov_override: 0.000000 <-- Don't change
See how that looks in game and adjust "left/right heading_offset" as required.
You'll only need to be somewhere around 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4 & 4.5 (+left & -right)
Double example:
monitor_config : _nameless.Left.AA {
heading_offset: 0.000000 <------------- Don't change
horizontal_fov_override: 60.000000 <- set to your value or 0.000000
monitor_config : _nameless.Right.AA {
heading_offset: -3.500000 <------------ My Bezel (-4.0 moves closer to left / -3.0 away)
horizontal_fov_override: 60.000000 <- set to your value or 0.000000
monitor_config : _nameless.Dummy1 {
heading_offset: 0.000000 <------------- Don't change
horizontal_fov_override: 0.000000 <-- Don't change
monitor_config : _nameless.Dummy2 {
heading_offset: -0.000000 <------------ Don't change
horizontal_fov_override: 0.000000 <-- Don't change
monitor_config : _nameless.AA.Enabler {
heading_offset: 0.000000 <------------- Don't change
horizontal_fov_override: 0.000000 <-- Don't change
================================================================================
If you see vertical black lines on screenshots where the images join together.
Edit the multimon_config.sii and edit as shown below:
Double:
monitor_config : _nameless.Left.AA {
normalized_width: 0.500000 <-- increase to 0.500001
Triple:
monitor_config : _nameless.Center.AA {
normalized_width: 0.333333 <-- increase to 0.333334
monitor_config : _nameless.Left.AA {
normalized_width: 0.333333 <-- increase to 0.333334
Quad:
monitor_config : _nameless.Center.AA {
normalized_width: 0.250000 <-- increase to 0.250001
monitor_config : _nameless.Left.AA {
normalized_width: 0.250000 <-- increase to 0.250001
monitor_config : _nameless.Right.AA {
normalized_width: 0.250000 <-- increase to 0.250001
That will add a very small overlap at the join.
If black lines persist, depending on your resolution, increase the above values to suit.

Multi Monitor Version >>>4<<< AA - Setup guide: viewtopic.php?p=17368#p17368
As i don't know how to.... can you add the link at the bottom of "Multi Monitor Version 4 AA - Setup guide" post to link to "Multi Monitor AA Version 4" post.
Hope that sounds right.

@BenganJ - Single is still V1 - No change required, unlike multi's.
