@BenganJ - Is that scale to do with photomode?

uset g_hq_3d_scale "0.0"
uset g_hq_3d_screenshot "0"

I don't take photos... just like driving.
Perhaps that scale will keep changing if photomode is used?

@JHTrucker

Yes, and I'm not using it either, F10 or shortcut for that on wheel button!
But now I'm crying like a child again, IT WORKS WITH RESHADE TOO NOW,
and also with ALT+TAB in any situation. PLEASE FOLKS, can someone else
also confirm this and then I'll update the first post! :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock:
You HAVE TO USE 'Mirror Resolution' -- 'Medium' // For reshade test.

EDIT: One note though, I choose to install ReShade 4.2.1, because in 4.3.0
I think Nvidia included some ReShade filters first time. I'll test later if later
versions work too! DAMN, THIS IS FUN! :D :D :D

@BenganJ Perhaps edit your post with...
'Mirror Resolution' -- 'Medium' // For reshade test.

In case others haven't seen the mirror posts.

@Folks

Worst case scenario now is that in ETS2/ATS v1.37, SCS has implemented a
MSAA + SGSSAA solution, but on the other hand, this has been such a rewarding
journey and having you JHTrucker here has been a pure pleasure! It has also
been nice to see the interest and participation all the way from many people!
Thank you so VERY much for that Folks!

@BenganJ - Thanks... One final test with reshade on.

uset r_multimon_mode "0" to disable multimon_config,sii
No more flipping menu / garage etc gfx?

So reshade users don't need MM whilst others do?
Or just keep everyone using MM as its a non issue?

EDIT: SCRAP THE ABOVE IDEA... Best to keep all using uset r_multimon_mode "4", if using reshade and decide to turn it off, you'll get flipping gfx using uset r_multimon_mode "0"... WTF!

Regarding scs implementing better AA... I'm not convinced.
ETS2 launched with MLAA (less than useless for nvidia users) and 400% scaling.
How many updates over the following 7+ years addressed this? None.

Add DX11 and replace MLAA with SMAA and keep 400% scaling... job done.
Gfx update will be to update assets to better utilise SMAA and some DX11 wow effects- my guess.

@JHTrucker

Yes, I'm not very optimistic either! To report again regarding ReShade, I just
tested with the absolute latest version, 4.5.4, and it WORKS LIKE A CHARM!
I have my Smart_Sharp back, so I can disable the Nvidia Image sharpening and
use that instead. I can also use the full SuperDepth3D pack to get 3D VR from
the game if I want. It's gonna be an extra beer tonight! :lol: :lol: :lol:

If you mean Reshade disabled the AA method go to the last tab DX11 for you (my shot is from another game) and mess with the different check boxes until AA is back.

@Arayas
Do you happen to know how you got this setting?

Code: Select all

uset g_hq_3d_scale "2.1125"
That is probably why you didn't manage to get it working!
Probably my dog brought it home. IDK.
(i have that config file sience ETS 1.27, what do you expect from me? :D )

BTW, did you hear the news? Beta 1.37 for ETS it's out and if you use NPI it crashes!

fake news, carry on!
