Is that all you have under section Other?
Please again, state your NPI version and your Nvidia driver version!
This is everything under my NPI other section

NPI version in use is 2.3.0.10 and Nvidia driver is 442.19; as here

@hasteflex

Okay then! I wonder if that could be the cause of your problem.
Follow JHTrucker's recommendation to re-install the Nvidia driver
and this time tick the Clean install. See if that gives you a full
Other section in NPI!

@JHTrucker

Please, check my latest edited stuff in first post. I'm so damn tired
now, so I might do some errors! :roll:

@JHTrucker - very pleased to be able to confirm your work :)

After driving around a little more and confirming that 8x works absolutely fine, albeit with some frame drops, I will indeed be dropping to 4x to maintain stable 60fps. Am away again soon for a few days but hopefully I'll have some time to get better comparison pictures and perhaps a video (although video won't be so great with triples heh) next week.

@BenganJ
New updates look ok now, thanks.
Perhaps just a tweak here though...

EXTREME FPS HIT
uset r_sun_shadow_texture_size "8192" // Size of the sun shadow texture, default 4096.

Change to
LOW to MID FPS HIT
uset r_sun_shadow_texture_size "8192" // Size of the sun shadow texture, default 4096.

@Tapir

Thanks! :D

@Arayas

Do you happen to know how you got this setting?

Code: Select all

uset g_hq_3d_scale "2.1125"
That is probably why you didn't manage to get it working!

===== Mirror Resolution settings in config.cfg, Step 3, added to first post! =====

@lonewolf0958
I have a question. I know that this is fairly new but when looking out windshield and off to the sides everything looks great with little to no shimmering at all. But have noticed when looking in mirrors driving down the road it's like there's no AA being applied. Anyone else notice this?? This is in ATS

This is especially for you! :D

@BenganJ - You beat me to the step 3 update request!

Anyway, just a thought, you remember i said this a couple of pages back when referring to mirrors having no AA...

"This is probably the reason reshade doesn't work, the screen as a whole isn't getting AA.
Which in turn causes the flipping gfx also."

So, now the mirrors have AA as well as the rest of the screen... reshade?
