Okay, I now see what you mean! After your first turn heading towards the city you have what it is supposed be, FPS=30 pretty constant.
Do you happen to know if the grass/tree phenomenon is like that on many similar places? I hope this is not just one badly made location
by the mapper. E.g a lot of error messages output to the game log.

Thank you. :D :D :D
I have done what I can and should do.
When I move to 1.37, I would like to try it again. ;)

@AfxTwn @BenganJ
I thought 90 fps was a requirement for VR - 45 per side? for smooth game play without causing motion problems. 2x will halve that and then 4x will halve what was left, well it does for me.
I can't recommend anything as i only have an old non VR setup.
Does VR even use multimonitor.sii when set to 4? May not and then your "double" won't get AA. Or is it a single with 2 images?
Try step 1,2 & 3 and nothing more. You may have to change to 2xMSAA & 2xSGSS. Then you tell us.

@alonzam99 - I'm not trying to ignore your request to be window blocked, just trying out ideas in the hope that someone might chip in with extra useful info to get to the desired result quicker, that's how finding our own solution works.
This thread was started December 28th, 2019. This AA that you are using only became a proper solution on February 7th, 2020. So plenty of time to still find a solution or probably not. SCS needs to fix/allow it.
Without binding the views to window opening.
You can drive with view 1 and windows open halfway to enjoy the new fmod sounds and you won't be able to put your head out of the window.
Only view 5 allows your head to pass through the window, if open or closed!

So sync=2 locks 30 fps but you drop to 20 fps because NPI vert sync is standard whereas BenganJ has adaptive and only drops a few frames as required. But i think when you set adaptive your fps jump to 60, breaks vsync=2?
If grass is set to off in game is it the same? This is a test not a solution.

As i'm not going to be on 1.37 anytime soon... one question. Do the new windows get wet when raining and half open?

@JHTrucker

Just for the record here! My way of running VR doesn't mean at all running any special EXE as Occulus does.
I run the normal game and the SuperDepth3D shader digs out the 3D info from what's called the DEPTH MAP.
When I ran that scheme I hardly noticed ANY delay at all, but it's been a while since I did that now, so I might
remember wrong, senile as I am! :lol: :lol: :lol:

About rain on half open window is interesting. I haven't checked that yet, so I will do that promptly! :D :D :D

Hello,

@BJ

Are the NPI settings still available with ETS2 1.37 Beta ?

As I followed instructions few weeks ago (I was playing 1.36), everything was perfect

I installed ETS2 1.37 Beta on a new PC, followed the same instructions (DL Multimon V4) and game crashed before the end of loading
I checked all settings several times, followed Wombat or MXTrucker videos...no matter what I did, same result.
I tried the same with Multimon V3...Nothing better

So I reinstalled ETS2 1.37 Beta without NPI settings and no more crash
Did someone else report it to you ?

@Peyence

Yes, it works flawlessly in 1.37 both ETS2 OB and ATS FINAL, no problems whatsoever!
I have a hard time believing that this NPI scheme can crash the game, have never heard
of anything like that! Check out my YouTube videos and you'll see how well it is working.

@JHTrucker

Nope, the rain on half open side window doesn't work very well!
Check out this short video:

So, it's sort of embarrassing how bad SCS has implemented this opening of the side windows!
