[DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
@xXS4INTXx - The mirror AA is either on or off.
As long as 'Mirror resolution' = Medium - AA should get applied.
Change that to high and re-check the cam 1 view to see both mirrors looking blocky, the rest of the image should still have AA.
Then change back to medium to re-enable AA, is that top mirror really as blocky as when there was no AA?
I've never thought of this before, are you using default mirrors or physics mirrors? Try swapping to test.
I use normal mirrors and only 2xAA and so my mirrors will never look as good as yours.
However, I think mirror AA is as good as it gets and possibly getting worse over time, perhaps because with every game update SCS is slowly make changes in readiness for their new render engine...

Thanks, I've just added the link to the first post, but I won't be testing it with my old hardware!

Hello, everyone. I need help. I tried to use all settings for 5 times, but i have blur in front of car's cabin in 30 meters.
Is there any way to resolve it? All road sign i see just 10 meters away. Before my tries my eyes hurt because of ladders, and now because of blur.
Help me please

@Silent29
Check NPI:
Anisotropic filtering mode ------------------------- 'User-defined / Off'
Anisotropic filtering setting ----------------------- '16x'
Texture filtering - Driver Controlled LOD Bias -- 'Off'
Texture filtering - LOD Bias (DX) ----------------- '-1.5000' up to -3.0 (negative values sharpen, positive blur!)
Texture filtering - Negative LOD bias ------------ 'Allow'
Texture filtering - Quality ------------------------- 'High quality'
config.cfg
set uset r_anisotropy_factor "1"

@Silent29 - Turn off 'depth of field' in menu or uset r_dof "0"
But those pics look ok to me and my old eyes, I use 'interior zoom' to read distance signs!
You're also using a wide FOV which stretches the view into the distance making objects smaller.
Lowering FOV will lose your mirror but will increase the size of the outside world by displaying it closer.
Default game at 400% will always be sharper then forced MSAA. Just choose the one that suits you best.

Thanks for help. I'll use this one, better without ladders.JHTrucker wrote: ↑January 11th, 2023, 8:22 pm@Silent29 - Turn off 'depth of field' in menu or uset r_dof "0"

I played on 300%, image was beautiful, but ladders annoyed me.
Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
Also ensure FXAA is off.
If you're into taking pictures of your truck you can easily switch between MSAA & sharpest image.
With all required NPI AA settings active:
100% scaling turns AA on for driving.
400% scaling turns AA off for picture taking.
