TRACKIR Closed window block solutions 1.38 to 1.45 - Updated 12/08/2022
Re: TRACKIR Closed window block solutions 1.38. Updated 28/10/2020
TRACKIR Closed window block option 1 updated to game version 1.39 but will still work with 1.38 as well.
What's new:
Refuel button can now be changed via the menu (v4.1 & v3.2). (The main reason you need to reapply all lines).
Basic collision detection added to refueling view - You now auto move around/over solid objects in your path. Not all objects are solid.
V3.2 Menu - added slightly tweaked interior camera files from v3 that were missing from v3.1!
V4.1 Menu - Added ATS Westernstar 49x to supported list and it will now work the same as all current SCS trucks.
Head zoom code re-worked (line 187) - new default 9.0 - 0.0=disabled - 10.0=max lean forward to trigger zoom. Normal z movement is up to 3.5 so keep trigger value between 3.5 & 10.0 to prevent unwanted zooming.
To be certain of an error free time, reapply all lines except the window control buttons, lines 128/306/307/308/309, that haven't changed. All these posted line edits have been reapplied to a new controls.sii file for testing and all worked as expected.

Re: TRACKIR Closed window block solutions 1.38. Updated 28/10/2020
TRACKIR Closed window block option 7 updated to game version 1.39 but all will still work with 1.38 as well.
What's new: Nothing much, just 2 minor fixes that were part of the latest Option 1 update.
New menu mod 1.39
Fixed TIR x slider function to work as intended. Originally, 10% drivers side & 20%-110% passenger side.
New re-worked function:
Slider 0% = No sideways movement.
Slider 1% to 10% = driver side 1-10% & passenger side 1-10% sideways movement.
Slider 11% to 100% = driver side 10% & passenger side 11-100% sideways movement.
Head zoom code re-worked (line 187) - new default 9.0 - 0.0=disabled - 10.0=max lean forward to trigger zoom. Normal z movement is up to 3.5 so keep trigger value between 3.5 & 10.0 to prevent unwanted zooming.

@alonzam99 - You mean "we can't have full outside TIR control without using the 'on demand' button, yet?"
Just what the update post states. Nothing more can be done because of g_cam_window_block.
Look back at the bottom of page 15 where i replied to you (7th Nov) in regard to trying option 1 with manual window control instead of my auto control that you don't like the idea of.

Re: TRACKIR Closed window block solutions 1.38/1.39. Updated 20/11/2020
TRACKIR Closed window block option 1 & 7 update info.
What's new:
Option 1 only:
Fixed (hopefully) a problem with the new REFUEL button not always displaying in the menu to indicate your chosen button even though it still worked when refueling.
Option 1 & 7:
Added "zoom zone" slider to menu to go with "Trigger 'Zoom View' when leaning forward (TIR z)" and line 187 amended to suit.
This allows you to set the area to the left & right that "triggering zoom view" is active to prevent unwanted head zoom at higher head angles.
5.00 = Up to 180 degrees left/right (head zoom always on).
2.5 = Up to 90 degrees left/right.
1.25 = Up to 45 degrees left/right (prevent head zoom when looking around at junctions etc).
0.55 = Up to 20 degrees left/right - Default - (good for head zooming to just read upcoming signs in front of you).

Re: TRACKIR Closed window block solutions 1.38/1.39. Updated 25/11/2020
alonzam99 - Well i've explained it plenty of times in this thread but you don't seem to understand.
gcam doesn't work with head tracking... but you know this... blame scs.
I auto disable headtracking just before your head hits the drivers window (~90 degrees).
gcam then takes over to block or allow head through window using controller function to turn (not headtracking).
At no point does the game tell me the window is open, i can only see the window is open, so i can't auto turn headtracking on when outside which is why you need the "on demand" feature.
We need something like this variable --> window_height = 0 to 1 : 0 = closed : 1 = open
if window_height = gcam_window_block then turn on headtracking.
So, you're stuck with option 7, option 1 or hope scs finally gives you what you want for xmas.
If scs do enable gcam for headtracking, i wouldm't use it anyway, option 1 is by far the better solution, even with just the new manual window controls.

Re: TRACKIR Closed window block solutions 1.38/1.39. Updated 25/11/2020
TRACKIR Closed window block Option 1 updated.
What's changed?
Manual window controls - line 128 amended to make changing window buttons in game easier.
You now don't have to copy your window buttons in lines 306/307/308/309 and paste them into the correct locations in line 128.
Just replace line 128 as shown in the main post. Then you are free to change your in game window buttons as often as you like. But this is mainly useful to make setting up option 1 a bit easier for new users as it's all just copy & paste each line now... except the Automated window controls that have to remain the same.
Option 1 setup post: viewtopic.php?p=25876#p25876
Note: A similar update will be available soon for Option 7.
