I have tried uset o_oculus_mirror_mode "1" and uset o_oculus_mirror_mode "0". I'll attach a config file when I'm on my PC.

@subroutine - Ok, just had a random thought...
We know the game is a bit sensitive to aspect ratio/res in regard to AA. 1440x900 & 1680x1050 won't get AA applied but all other native resolutions seem ok. At least no one has reported a failure... except VR.

If i set a game windowed resolution 1000x1000 i get windowed AA on my 3840x1024 monitor.
uset r_fullscreen "0"
uset r_mode_refresh "0"
uset r_mode_height "1000"
uset r_mode_width "1000"

Then set 900x1000 and got no AA (that's 1080x1200 scaled 0.833333) to fit on my screen.
uset r_fullscreen "0"
uset r_mode_refresh "0"
uset r_mode_height "1000"
uset r_mode_width "900"

Then with a 1920x1080 monitor set to portrait mode (and turned monitor 90 degrees to work the mouse!) and windowed resolution 1080x1200 i got AA.

uset r_mode_refresh "0"
uset r_mode_height "1200"
uset r_mode_width "1080"

Then Setting 1080x1300 i get no AA.... aspect ratio has changed!

If you setup again with steps 1/2/3 and see if you get AA on your 2560x1440 screen first in case you have something still set that breaks it. 100% / no rift enhancements etc.

Then try windowed 1080x1200. Do you get AA in that window on screen, in normal landscape mode?
If not change to portrait and test again.
Assuming you get AA in portrait... try firing up rift mode.... hopefully it doesn't turn your rift 90 degrees!

EDIT: If still no AA... try windowed 2160x1200 in normal landscape mode.

Okay my friend, now I have plowed through the pile of docs. I once posted regarding
your video because I thought you had bad AA. After checking the NPI settings and the
game settings I'm not so sure about that any more. The only odd thing I found was, that
you have a FrameRate Limit set to 60 in NPI and a game Refresh Rate set to 144Hz, but
you have no r_vsync set in config.cfg, value "0". What happens if you set the in-game
Refresh Rate to Default? I'm just curious! A couple of questions though:

1. What are you using to record your videos?
2. At which bitrate are you recording?

Let's start there!

The Frame Rate Limit is set to 60 by me to keep the GPU a little cooler. The Refresh Rate is 144 same with the monitor I have.
I am using GeForce Experience for recording, with 60 Mbps. I suspect that YT is setting the quality of my videos way lower when I upload.
Ok, now I turned the in-game vsync on, but I see no difference (it was off because the monitor is g_sync compatible)...

This is what I meant. As you had set a Frame Rate Limiter to 60, I see no point in telling
the game to use 144Hz, as the driver will only allow 60. It will only confuse the system.
Unless you use G-Sync, which demands a G-Sync compatible monitor, I suggest you test
the following.
1. Remove the 144Hz Refresh Rate in-game, set at Default.
2. Remove that Frame Rate Limiter 60 value, set it to Off.
3. In config.cfg file set r_vsync to "3" to get a solid FPS of 48.
4. While in config.cfg also set t_averaging_window_length to "96", which should give a smoother feeling.
5. The recorder in the Geforce Experience app is called Shadowplay, set the bitrate to 15 Mbits/s if recording 1080p videos,
as YT will make it around 12 Mbits/s after conversion. So no need for those 60.

If you already use G-Sync, do only 1,2,5!

Lol I get around 120 FPS now but the vents are going nuts!

Are you using G-Sync? You did all 5 up there? Especially the r_vsync set to "3"?

I am using a Free-sync monitor with the G-sync activated. It is compatible I checked on the NVIDIA website. So I only did 1,2,5

Okay, then! That explains it a bit! Not the AA probs though! I suggest that you
read Note 3a in the first post, the two first sections. NOT the one about the
"poor mans adaptive sync"! Follow those advices by Road Runner and see if
that gives a proper good result. You shouldn't have to reset the 1,2,5 changes!
Could you then make a short video where you drive where there are power or
phone lines and show us?
