[DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
@alonzam99 - Attach a low quality screen shot of your in cab view using doubles.
If possible i can reduce the second monitor width to only show up to your mirror so the rest will be blank, should increase fps a bit.
You should only be using steps 1,2 & 3, anymore will just kill your fps even more.

@JHTrucker
He says he doesn't use NPI at all, so I guess he has just done Step 2!

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
I skipped step 1 (NPI configuration) and done steps 2 and 3.What do you mean when you say "attach a low quality screen shot of your in cab view using doubles" ?JHTrucker wrote: ↑May 5th, 2020, 5:04 pm@alonzam99 - Attach a low quality screen shot of your in cab view using doubles.

I haven't understood it..

@alonzam99
In game and in cabin view, looking strait ahead, take a screenshot and post it here!

@alonzam99 - Looking at your log i can see reasons for low fps in cities.
uset r_mirror_view_distance "400" --> 100
uset g_traffic "5" --> 1
Change them and test. Yes you won't have lots of traffic and the mirror distance is reduced.

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
@BenganJ with the edited leaves_lod_config.sui I have many entries in the log for too much vegetation objects. Is it normal?

@paokkerkir
Yes sadly! I don't know exact limits that is probably set within the game engine code,
so do some experimenting and see where the messages stop.

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
My step 2 multi files work for people using AA or not, but they do reduce fps for people who don't use AA (low fps users / AMD users).
I've removed the AA enabling parts from within the double setup and attached here for testing.
My test (gtx760 3840x1024) showed:
STEP 2 double file with NPI AA disabled = 73 fps.
STEP 2 double file with AA parts removed = 83 fps.
Double with reduced width option = 90+ fps.
See pic for how reduced looks. Each monitor is FOV=90, you can't use in game FOV or zoom.
I've moved my seat sideways to see the left mirror.
You can change FOV by editing the the multimon_config.sii file:-
monitor_config : _nameless.Left {
horizontal_fov_override: 90.000000
monitor_config : _nameless.Right {
horizontal_fov_override: 90.000000
Change both "horizontal_fov_override" values at the same time.

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
But I like that there is action in the road and if I'll make the mirror distance lower I will not be able to reverse anymore.
I'll ty to upload cab screenshot later
Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
@alonzam99 - I reverse using mirrors @ 100 all the time.
But more importantly, download the "double NO AA.zip" in the post above your last one... it was for you to increase fps!
