[DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
@JHTrucker
Sadly, this is the phpBB and NOT a HTML type of posting! So, I can't link into a post only
to the start of the post! Pancreas has been online here several times this morning, so
if you see this Pancreas, chime in and help us get your solution right!

@BenganJ I'm no expert on forums, remember this is my first.
But you added link in first post to my triple post and workaround post so i thought you could add Pancreas last post also but in the workaround post?
If that makes sense.

@JHTrucker
Oh, adding a link into one post to another post is OK, I can just not
link INTO the middle of a post! Let's see if I get this right! Be right back!
EDIT: JHTrucker, did I get it right?

@BenganJ & JHTrucker
The set up was done by using two analogue Matrox TripleHead2Go Graphic boxes. As I remember it, each box used a DVI outlet and 3 monitors then plugged in to each box. Had to use windowed mode otherwise would not have been able to move both FMC's onto a fourth monitor. The 5th monitor shows the position of the aircraft, whilst the 6th displays weather information and the online IVAO ATC.

@BenganJ - links fine, thanks.
@anyone who's interested:
In regard to sun shadows.
I've used - uset r_sun_shadow_texture_size "8192" for years with DX9 AA but i only have shadow quality on low.
This gives me good looking shadows nearby and far shadows fade on in a not annoying way.
Ultra is too demanding for me, lots more shadows and they all now have double the texture memory usage.
GTX760 with 2gig @ 3840x1024 soon fills up it's gfx memory.
Also, i've resisted using the AO bit in case it looked great but ran poorly... but temptation is hard to resist. I've been running with it on for the last week or so and all still runs smooth, i suspect that's because AO is acting on a low number of shadows and not an ultra amount.

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
@Road Runner
It's a pity that multimon support for ATS/ETS2 is limited to 4 rendered images, must be hard coded.
I was playing with 5 screen setup, across my 3 monitors in a window just to work out the posiblities.
But the 5th image just ends up black.
5 could give driver door, driver, passenger, passenger door & dash. No need for trackir or moving the view around.
