On my 4K monitor with resolution of 3840x2160 i have AA.

Image

So the question is why i don't have it on other screens. I have tested on 1 screen also with a resolution of 1680x1050 and i don't have there AA. And if i have 2 screens or three screens there i have no AA.

It's the same pc with in total 5 screens on it. As i said, only on my 4K screen i have AA.

Oh..... and i have the deafult settings in NPI. As in Step 1

@Pancreas

This is REALLY interesting! I've had a friend with this problem on a 16:10 monitor earlier
and pick up the calculator and you'll see that both 1440x900 AND 1680x1050 are 16:10
aspects. BUT the 3840:2160 is a 16:9 which I have and many others with me. Can it be
that the aspect ratio of 16:10 is a problem, as it might interfere with the UI ratio which
is the same? Let's see what JHTrucker has to say about this!

Exactly as i thought. It must be a resolution problem. So we aren't finished yet with this topic :lol: :lol:

@Pancreas

We will probably never be! :lol: But is it possible for you to create a triple Surround screen consisting of 3 16:9 screens
and test this theory? You'll probably end up with some black stripes somewhere, but what the heck!

EDIT: E.g. 1440x810 would be near what you have now!

@Pancreas - Ok good you've proved the settings are right for AA to work.

In your excitement did you forget multi screens MUST use the correctly supplied multimon_config.sii file to get AA?

Why didn't you try lower res on the triple? That'll prove the triple AA works and 1440x900 is an issue.
I gave plenty of options but not many results returned?

@BenganJ - Foxman has his triple setup using 3 1920x1200 monitors = 16:10 each.

EDIT: As i said, possibly due to the game being hard coded with 1440x900 internally.

Here for example:
DEF - UI.sii
SiiNunit
{
ui_def : ui.defs {

ref_res_x: 1440
ref_res_y: 900
}
}

There's plenty of files that state this res.
Perhaps a mod would help?
SiiNunit
{
ui_def : ui.defs {

ref_res_x: 1439
ref_res_y: 899
}
}

Yep, I'm running 5760x1200 /16:10 without any issues.

@JHTrucker - I tested the width adjustment and my FPS gains were about the same as what you reported earlier. I'll keep using full size though as the reduced width doesn't feel right to me :D

@Foxman - well volunteered, can you prove that one of your screens works ok if it's not a massive hassle?
Thanks for test results... like i said "may or may not" so it's fine!
