@hasteflex

Another test.
Rename config.cfg <-----------------------xxxxxxx
start game to generate a new one. <-------xxxxxxx
Now make the "basic" changes only - STEP 3.
ETC

Happy days anyway!!!!!

@BenganJ FOV's were just to keep the images looking similar, 2 to 3 to 4 screens.
That's why i stated how to change them to your liking.

@BenganJ - ? To start the game without having years old config file.
Was there really something different? don't know, did the game just "reset" when generating a new config?
However hasteflex reply was, it didn't work!!!

Regarding mirror AA
Yes there's no AA on the mirrors.

With DX9 i found that:
0x084012C1 SGSSAA 100% scaling only! Mirrors and Adviser overlay have no AA.
0x080012C1 SGSSAA 100-400% scaling works - smoother mirrors but less fps
I used 0x084012C1 to gain an extra 5FPS

Which means there's still a working AA bit to find that will apply AA across the whole DX11 screen and probably scaling too.
And yes, i've already tried putting a 4 after our 8 -> 0x84000A7F' or did I?

This is probably the reason reshade doesn't work, the screen as a whole isn't getting AA.
Which in turn causes the flipping gfx also.

@JHTrucker

Very interesting ideas all over! I have tested 0x84000A7F at some point,
but didn't get then a positive result! But, what the heck, I didn't look for
AA in mirrors then, it was the rain and Mirror Quality at that time! And
yes, it would have been nice if Arayas had saved the config.cfg before
recreating a new, so that a comparison could be done!

@BenganJ - yes looking back he just posted logs... so harder to compare.

Q - My setting are EXACTLY as your instructions state - still on AA
A - Rename or delete global config,cfg and start the game to generate a new one.
Now make the "basic" changes only - STEP 3.

@JHTrucker

Do you want me to add this to the Q&A section? If so I want to change still on AA to still NO AA, OK?
Q - My setting are EXACTLY as your instructions state - still on AA
A - Rename or delete global config,cfg and start the game to generate a new one.
Now make the "basic" changes only - STEP 3.
EDIT: After comparison of Arayas OLD and NEW config.cfg there's a lot of differences, as the
OLD is from before he even started with NPI. But what about this line, which probably was
left in the one for NPI? I've read about problems with that one earlier on the SCS forum.

Code: Select all

Arayas:
uset g_hq_3d_scale "2.1125"
Default:
uset g_hq_3d_scale "0.0"
@Arayas

Thanks a million buddy! :D

Bloody hell, you guys have been busy!

@JHTrucker
I was away for a few days so unable to keep up with your updates on the triple monitor settings sorry. Thank you for the PM though, that alerted me as soon as I logged in! I'll be trying the new settings tonight so will let you know how it pans out performance and quality wise on my system.
