@Road Runner - Having the basic Q&A on steam will prompt people to click the link and read the steps the Q&A points out.
It seem's some watch the video and take notes / setup at the same time.
When they get a problem, they'll follow the link and post their problem requesting help, help that has already been given by Q&A and following the steps correctly. No need to register also.

But, opinions are like arseholes... everyone's got one!
I understand where you are coming from but unless Steam would agree to pin the topic, it will simply disapear down the line and effectively will be no more. From Monday I am not going to be able to support it further, even if I wished to. Over next week we are getting fiber broadband with a relocation of the outlet to my new office/games room. My new PC and monitor should be arriving on Tuesday. There will of course be some general disruption but when all is complete I will no doubt need to get back up to date with work matters before getting involved in anything else. :)

@Road Runner

What about the suggestion to make that Steam topic in the Discussions a Steam Guide instead?

@BenganJ

It's probably like you guy's have been saying, nvidia intergrating sharpness etc into newer drivers.
You could try the nvidia driver prior to the first sharpness one.

But, lets look at it basically:

AA 072 - low mirrors, rain in cab, bleeding sun shafts, working reshade (also fixed menu/drive screen flipping gfx).

AA F7F - high mirror, no rain in cab, correct sun shafts. broke reshade, set menu background to "waves" to fix flipping gfx & vegetaion outline glow bug.
Then custom multimon_config for single users to properly fix the gfx flipping.

AA A7F - high mirror, no rain in cab, correct sun shafts. broke reshade.
Custom multimon_config for single users to properly fix the gfx flipping.

So, to me, it needs another AA bit to fix all.
EDIT: The right AA bit would therefore also not cause gfx to flip in the first place.
Or it is the right AA bit but scs gfx engine freaks out!

Triples:
Also,perhaps wait to get a response from Foxman or other triple users to make sure what i wrote works compared to what i did!

A guide on Steam could work. I could copy your first topic in the thread there. Need a Title? and an Image, Image should be square, and at least 195px by 195px. Can any one provide? Also place one in ATS (perhaps with ATS suitable image?) :D

@Road Runner

Please, don't copy info from here. Will never be in sync. Just a thorough description
of what's it all about and a link to first post here!

@BenganJ
You can't just remove step 3 multi as it's still relevant... for doubles and quads.
However, i wouldn't want to use it with 4 rendered images. And as the game only allows up to 4 rendered images i couldn't do my "dummy trick" to help.
I could provide a multimon_config for doubles, then doubles and triples would have the same setup and forget quad. We'll see if there's any demand.
But yes, can't really put the new setup in first post!

Perhaps just add something like this:

===============
Step 3 [Multi]: ETC
===============

For TRIPLE monitor setups see Version 2 (link my post)

The following are for DOUBLE and QUAD ONLY.
uset r_multimon_mode "M" //M should be set already.
uset r_scale_y "1" //See below. DON'T CHANGE!
uset r_scale_x "X" //Set X to the number of monitors your Multimon setup has. Scaling = X00% in game. DON'T CHANGE!
uset r_smaa "0" //This will show as SMAA = Disabled in game. DON'T CHANGE!
uset g_menu_aa_limit "8"

If in doubt, check this post by JHTrucker <-- and keep this original one.

@BenganJ

Thanks for update.

Just had a quick glance over the past few pages regarding your reshade issues.

I still don't have reshade installed.
Are we saying, at this moment in time:
Reshade works as expected within the driving screen but menu splits on return?
"Waves" background split or truck garage background split?

Driving - ALT/TAB - driving - Ok? or gfx flip in driving screen?

Does menu split in 2, horizontally with 2xMS & 2xSGSS ?
Does menu split in 4, vertically & horizontally with 4xMS & 4xSGSS ?
Does menu split in 8, vertically & horizontally with 8xMS & 8xSGSS also 32xS?

Quick test for you!
With reshade on and menuAA="0" does that help?
With reshade on and menuAA="4" with 4xMS & 4xSGSS does that help?
