Dual monitor AA setup with offset driving position and second monitor angle reduced to 22.5 degrees.
This, I think, is the best dual screen configuration. The driving position is offset to the right of the left monitor allowing you to see both mirrors (FOV dependent) and no image stretching unlike my single ultra wide / dual monitor file, https://roextended.ro/forum/viewtopic.p ... 970#p19970.
Note: This isn't suitable for single ultra wide monitors because the right image has to be angled at 22.5 degrees. If you remove that angle then you end up back with a stretched image.
Move your actual dual monitors towards the left to line up the new on screen driving seat position with yours. This view will still rotate around the driving seat, like normal, and not around the center of the truck cabin. The right monitor should be angled at 22.5 degrees instead of default 45 degrees. You get a better wider view than the standard dual setup.
This double file is actually a reworked Triple.AAv5 file. By using my triple i can place exactly where the driving position is (center image) and make the left image inline with the center so both images are flat and contained on the left monitor whilst reducing the angle of the right image and displaying it on the right monitor.
Main FOV is usually set per monitor. As this file has the left monitor split into 2 images (left & center) we therefore halve the FOV we would normally use, like so:-
Set FOV values as follows (center is your usual FOV/2):-
Left FOV=117.75: Center FOV=45 (90) : Right FOV=113.75
Left FOV=114.5 : Center FOV=42.5 (85) : Right FOV=110.75
Left FOV=111.0 : Center FOV=40 (80) : Right FOV=107.75
Left FOV=107.25: Center FOV=37.5 (75) : Right FOV=104.25
Left FOV=103 : Center FOV=35 (70) : Right FOV=100.5
Left FOV=98.75 : Center FOV=32.5 (65) : Right FOV=96.5
Left FOV=94 : Center FOV=30 (60) : Right FOV=92
E.g. If you use FOV 70 then set these values:
Set CENTER horizontal_fov_override: 35.0
Set LEFT horizontal_fov_override: 103.0
Set RIGHT horizontal_fov_override: 100.5
Note: As this is now rendering 3 images instead of just 2, then expect a fps drop and/or higher gpu usage. If fps are too low for you, then try my single ultra wide / dual monitor AA setup file instead, the image will stretch towards the right though.
Note 2: You can't use in game zoom feature.
See attached low quality pic (3840x1024, basically 2x1080p) to illustrate the differences:
Pic 1 - Standard step 2 Double.AAv5 file.
Pic 2 - Single ultra wide and Dual monitor AA setup with the driving position offset to the left.
Pic 3 - This file. Looks much better than the single stretched image of pic 2 and a lot less wasted space (inside cab) than pic 1.
There should be no gaps between displayed images, so left monitor should look like 1 single image.
The black vertical line across all images is just to show what they look like on 2 monitors.
I use TH2GO with my 3x1280x1024 setup and so don't/can't use Nvidia surround.
If you use Nvidia surround and see a vertical line, try adjusting the bezel adjustment up or down to see if that fixes it.
Or set game resolution to just the size of both monitors (no bezel compensation) and instead edit the file for bezel adjustment, like so:-
Adjust bezels to suit your setup (my example 10mm bezels).

I thought reshade wasnt compatible with NPI configuration, is this still he case?
Also, im trying to figure it out how to make the AA to affect the mirrors as well. I know somewhere between in this forum was explained, but i cant find it... , what was the config we needed to change to make mirrors also get AA?

YES, where have you read the opposite? Use Nvidia Freestyle instead, it uses ReShade shaders
and is created for Nvidia by the ReShade creator!

Thats odd. So, using reshade as it is, its not compatble, but using it through nvidia freestyle it is??? o.O
Yay, sadly i dont want to see nvidia experience anywhere near me. I hate it. It causes fps drops on games and other minor problems. Most people try to avoid it at all costs. Im just waiting patiently to frank64 to update his realistic graphics mod to start using it (the only graphics mod actually good for ETs2, besides naturalux).

Yes, because ReShade itself hooks into the game engine through a DLL, not Nvidia Freestyle!

For me that is Reshade. An amateur made hack, hooking into game files is not gonna make the game running as it should. My opinion. I don't like Nvidia Experience either and I am NOT using it. I use OBS for recording and
also for doing some sharpening while recording to make the video look a bit better on
YouTube!
