OK so I tried today my dual monitor setup for the first time and I can run the game smooth in the max resolution and medium-high settings only in highway.when I enter a city
the fps drop into something like 20-25 fps and it is unplayable, is there anything to do to keep the fps stable ?
Except from use a lower resolution..

And thanks to BenganJ and JHTrucker for the setups and tutorial..

Ah, good that you finally tried it out, as that is the only way of telling what the result will be.
We all have different setups, so this is the way to investigate. And for the same reason, as we
don't know how you configured your system, it would be nice to have from you, in a ZIP maybe,
your latest game log running this setup and also screenshots of your NPI settings. Let's start there
to begin with! :D

Just a warning: 1.37 changed the config file, so you have to review your settings before playing

Well, I've been playing both ETS2 and ATS in version 1.37 as long as they have been out
and I have had NO problems with settings going crazy! But thanks for the warning!

My friend, as far as i can see, you have almost everything down to low,
so there's not much more you can do, but I have two things you could
test.
  • Change the launch option -mm_max_tmp_buffers_size from 400 to 1000.
  • Change the Vertical synchronization in game from Disabled to Economic or edit config.cfg r_vsync from "0" to "2".

@Arayas - I find if the game crashes then the next restart will default my config.cfg.
I use 3doverrider for triple buffer in 32bit mode and if i don't disable it before i use afterburner for a quick test of something, the game will crash on startup.
