@Arayas

Holy bananas, I'm going to learn how to dance slowfox, so that I can dance
around to some crappy Broadway music, singing Halleluja! :shock: :shock: :shock:

@Arayas

Ah, in the desktop one there's a GTX750Ti? Maybe, maybe, maybe it can
be a problem with that relatively old card, does it even support DX11,
I might check it out later!

it's a DX12 card and my son has 15 games on the PC, all running fine. I've played FIFA 20 today on it in ultra settings.
So i think it can handle a game from 1858.

@Arayas

Yeah, I agree! But what are the odds, not getting this working on two comps,
one laptop and one desktop, same shit :?: :?: :?: :?: :?:

@Guy's - thanks for kind words, isn't this the internet though????

If the screen doesn't blur with +2.00 then no AA bit will fix it.
I'd delete the exe from the NPI profile and add it manually by browsing to the ETS2 bin folder.

Also, AO & 32XS isn't the basic settings from step 1... but you shouldn't have an issue with them i guess.

I see this in config's from here -> uset r_nv_stereo_mode "2" but mine is "0". Perhaps i just set 0 some time ago?
What about GFE in nvidia driver, i never install it, have you and is it set be an overlay / record etc?

@JHTrucker

Two things you say I can really support!

1. Re-associate the EXE file to the profile!
2. GFE (GeForce Experience) is a problematic thing. I always disable it's game overlay! On my setup it e.g. disables screen-saver!
so, disable at least the overlay if you have it installed!

Thanks for the trigger JHTrucker!

EDIT: I've also had problems with ASUS GPU Tweak 2, so if you're using that one, at least for test, stop it from running!
And I'm NOT alone with that problem, Google it and you'll see!

@hasteflex

In your log, but won't fix AA...
\Euro Truck Simulator 2\bin\win_x64\eurotrucks2.exe -64bit -nointro -unlimitedlog -mm_pool_size 4000-mm_max_resource_size 32 -mm_max_tmp_buffers_size 1000

You need a gap "-mm_pool_size 4000>>>> <<<<<-mm_max_resource" in startup.
"-mm_pool_size 4000 -mm_max_resource"

I have these at "0" - my steam is in offline mode anyway.
uset g_steam_rich_presence "1"
uset g_steam_browser "1"
uset g_steam_screenshots "2"
But i guess most will have these as they are and our working AA ok?

Somebody doesn't like detours! uset g_detours "0"

Can't see any non-mod errors that would stop this AA.

Mod "Filmic Lighting - Dark Nights" Can a mod break this? Nah.

For your info:
NPI settings force the AA on.
multimon_config.sii stops the gfx from flipping in menu/garage etc.
