@t2patel & BenganJ will remember
Forum member ClearF1 had a similar issue with fps drop to 20 so he changed his 1070 to 2070 and still the same.... finally he changed his monitor cable and it was fixed. If you have another cable to test, try it.

If you read the previous posts you'll see the same problem.
I am using the Display port right now... I don't have another display port but let me check with HDMI cable and report

I think my issue is resolved now... :big_boss: Thanks a lot to all experts.
I removed display port and connect HDMI...Installed again Nvidia driver & NCP, During installing my driver I am observing there is no monitor driver in my device monitor only "Generic PnP monitor" is written...
Is this cause of graphic issue? Dear Expert, please confirm if possible.

I had tried to install my monitor driver but not get success.

There is no G sync setting so I assume now my monitor is running on free sync...

I am getting 48 FPS not always but most of the time in my last 800 kms trip...

Now, I am again back to old mission "Enhancing the graphic" & "Maximum utilization of this forum :laugh2: " like other Youtubers...:gamer3:

Bengan, I had tried to install NPI version 2.3.0.10 along with Nvidia driver 442.74 but my Window 10 is not installing the old driver and saying window is not supporting this driver...
Can you please help me?

@t2patel

Oh, was YT you?
If it works, use it.
But aside from the fixed 72fps for your 3080, 60fps should be a margin.
If you don't use the NPI setting, I think 100fps is enough for 3080. For me ETS2 is 85-105fps.

EDIT:
Isn't there a lot of AI traffic?
I saw Night drive in Italy (Milan to Turin), but if you improve the traffic, 1/2 refresh rate fixed 72fps may be possible.

Hi, I had watched your videos for your setting of NPI and config and game setting but it is not working in my case because of my graphic card I guess

I had installed NPI 2.3.10 and replicate all your settings but there is some error after that tried to change in NCP but there is again access denied error. I had googled the same and noted that these all errors becuase of mismatch your graphic drivers.

Now again I am installing latest driver and NCP and checking...

Answer to your msg.
I want to use NPI setting becuase of Jagged lines and shadow effect are terrible in without NPI setting.
Correct, My traffic density is 7 in that video..will try to reduce it and see the effect.

@t2patel

Do NOT use that old NPI 2.3.0.10, use the latest one 2.3.0.13 and the latest Nvidia drivers.
Your card demands that. Mind you I have a GTX1660Ti card. I will also upgrade to the latest
if/when I get a new computer!

@t2patel

I introduced the 2070 super to graduate to 30fps using NPI, then the 3 series was launched soon after with no luck. as I said for the 3080 use the new drivers.
My 2070 Super is stable at 60fps but can drop to 40fps in places that kill fps like everyone says. I haven't read all your comments but are you losing more fps when you set 48fps?
Your 3080 has a 130% better performance ratio than my card, so hopefully you'll have a comfortable game.
Anyway, without NPI settings the ETS2 is ugly now, so follow Bengan's teachings and enjoy a better game.

@t2patel - Gsync only works with display port cable, i think.

Your game resolution/hz is important as to what cable you use as hdmi has a lower bandwidth than display port. Try to test with another/borrowed display port cable if possible.

Google says:
To output 1080p content at 144Hz, you will need either a Dual-Link DVI, DisplayPort, or HDMI 1.4 cable (or better). ... For 144Hz at 1440p, you will need at least HDMI 2.0 or DisplayPort 1.2 while for 4K 144Hz you are going to need HDMI 2.1 or alternatively, DisplayPort 1.4 with DSC 1.2

With the above specs in mind, lowering your hz in game to 60 may be better?
Rather than 144hz at 1/2 vsync (72) or 1/3 vsync (48) try 60hz vsync 1 (60).

The old driver is not working in my pc configuration so I have to stick to latest driver and NPI...My FPS issue is resolved with HDMI..tomorrow I will buy new display port and will test with GSync on.
I am hoping for the best.

@JHTrucker

I will check with Display port tomorrow

@Bengan @JHTrucker

At present, my game is running on HDMI port.

I am observing that far end graphic is still blurred eg. opposite direction vehicles when they are far from me, far end building, trees or any other objects.

The second issue is facing that when objects appear (eg. mountains, buildings, trees) in that objects particular some portion in rectangular shape part is blurry rest all is covering in AA and seeing smooth.

Hope you can understand what I want to convey.

Please help.
