Maybe you're right, I'll try to put all the files and screenshots.

@Keiseiw74
@clear F1

I myself use DSR to get a desktop and game resolution of 2560x1440@60Hz for my native 1920x1080@60Hz monitor
and I'm running 4xAA and with a Frame Rate Limit of 30 I have a steady FPS=30 and a proper AA graphics.

EDIT: BTW, the 4xAA plus the driver downscale from 2560x1440 to 1920x1080 will give me a better AA than 8xAA,
as that only gives 4xAA!

@BenganJ - Thanks for vr link... just need someone to test it now!

@Keiseiw74 - If scaling isn't 100% then just moving the camera left/right in cab a few times should show flicking things outside (nearby lamp posts etc) that don't flicker at 100% when AA is applied.
If the driving screen looks the same at 100% and 125% then you don't have AA working at all.

How long have you been using this AA? Months/weeks/an hour? Just wondering if perhaps you've just tried it and it wasn't actually working when you thought it was... because you shouldn't have needed to even try DSR until the wow factor had wore off... unless, depending on how big your TV screen is, those 1920x1080 pixels will be much bigger than on a 22" monitor and therefore 4xAA may not look as good? But like BenganJ has said, all the AA settings either give 2x as stated or 4x despite what their named.

Hello, I checked the settings yesterday, I reduced the AA to x4 which gave me a constant 50 frames with DSR on. The conclusions are that turning on the 200% scaling does not improve the situation without DSR, but it looks weaker. So that was my subjective feeling, sorry for the confusion. I have a question whether with DSR scaling 100% on, some textures look as if they do not scale correctly, you can see it on the signs and, for example, the steering wheel, I wonder if this is normal in ETS2? Just some of the textures still look weak, or have a delicate, white border ??? Maybe it's a matter of setting the freestyle filter ??

@Keiseiw74

The cabin does NOT get AA you set in NPI. Regarding signs, have you set Negative LOD Bias in NPI?

yes i have so set
--- Texture filtering - Negative LOD bias ------------ 'Allow'

here I am facing a problem on typing and validation

--- Texture filtering - Driver Controlled LOD Bias -- 'Off' //In order for user defined LOD Bias to be used.
--- Texture filtering - LOD Bias (DX) ----------------- '-1.5000' //This is to get the text clarity earlier on distant signs. Value of -1.0000 for 4x AA, -1.5000 for 8x AA.

NPI does not set this, the field remains the same as before the input, i.e. the same
+0.0000

@Keiseiw74

Do you mean that this parameter, Texture filtering - LOD Bias (DX) ----------------- '-1.5000', isn't settable?
Doesn't it work to click in the field and then using the arrow down at the end of the field?

NPI does not accept - 1.5000 is not set despite being accepted

@Keiseiw74

You must be the only one with that problem. Do you click on arrow down and choose the value?
You can't write it in, just scroll in the list and choose.
