[DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
@mgysgtdev - Do you mean you have a single screen with 1070 and plan to get a 3080 with triples or you have triples already with the 1070?
I'm too poor to know the real answer... but as a guide, forum member 'foxman' said at the time when i got triple AA working that he had ~60fps with GTX1080ti at 5760x1200 and 4xMSAA 4xSGSS.
And my first attempt had his fps at below 30!

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
i have a gtx 1070 with triples (5670x1080) but i am thinking to upgrade to a rtx 3080. i also have the AA working (except for my wide view mirrors and my gps somehow). but getting 60 fps with a gtx1080ti seems like an achievement
Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
@mgysgtdev - No AA on mirrors means you didn't follow the instructions... mirror resolution - medium. not high.

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
It is on medium. But somehow the main mirrors have AA but not the small ones below/above them

On all trucks? Just for the records!

Haven't tested other trucks yet. Will let you know.

Nice, as I just want to rule out that your problem is with the truck design.

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
Tested multiple trucks. All small mirrors don't have AA

Okay, thanks for testing and reporting!

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
The standard Volvo FH 'not classic' mirrors look like AA is applied to both mirrors to my old eyes.
Is it a mod truck issue?
Just a thought, as an alternative to slightly blurry AA mirrors you may want to try increasing mirror resolution beyond high instead.
Mirror res high = 400% scaling - No AA
uset r_mirror_scale_y "2"
uset r_mirror_scale_x "2"
Mirror res custom = 900% scaling - No AA
uset r_mirror_scale_y "3"
uset r_mirror_scale_x "3"
Mirror res custom = 1600% scaling - No AA - might be better with really small mirrors?
uset r_mirror_scale_y "4"
uset r_mirror_scale_x "4"
EDIT:
Now that i've taken a screenshot to compare high with 1600% i can't see any difference when zoomed in real close to small objects... might be hard coded to 2 as max?
