[DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
Hello again team, great to see all sorts of work still being done here - I could be blind so forgive me if this has already been covered/answered but do the AA settings work with the 1.37 beta in either game currently? I'm considering switching to 1.37 for ATS to start updating my modlist in preparation for the live release.

JHTrucker posted this for you to test. Have you read it yet?

Exactly what we tested yesterday.
The result is a 1 minute Video posted yesterday.
All NPI, Config.cfg settings work great at 1080p, but in my case DSR (1440p) doesn't work.

@BenganJ sorry for the wrong place to ask this, could you update your ETS2_LAMB_UNIV_EURASIA_SAT_BG_MAP to highlight country borders in different color, thank you.

@black-coffee
You have a whole own topic to post that question in here, mate:

I promise you I read all the incoming posts on this forum. :D
Just joking, mate. I know the country borders are in some
places too thin to be seen properly, but we'll see what I can
do. Any specific request for color or is it just the thickness?

@Foxman
This concept works splendidly in 1.37! :D I'm using it in both ETS2 and ATS 1.37 OBs!

Well, the border color should be really visible, don't know, a bright color that makes the borders obvious.

@BenganJ
Fantastic, thanks for confirming - now I just need to work through my list and start testing! :D

I guess scs just think, here's the basic game, you can mod it to suit your needs, here's the tools... enjoy... But you can't mod everything.
The owned trailers loading screen i really don't mind it, it does the job by showing me it takes time to load. But why not for unloading... and further pickups like it stated.
If what carlxx said to you in scs post about max saying they tested and "it wasn't good to have it stop for head tracking" is true. Then it already works in game just like mouse block, they just need to allow us to choose, on or off. They don't stop making these games because some people get motion sickness while using them. Thanks scs for protecting me but i'd rather choose.
All car sims with trackir also stop the view left/right at some point. Strapped into a race car you don't have a lot of head movement. No problems for me in these.
Regarding AA, i guess when i said we've saved them the job... i forgot about none nvidia users, sorry you guy's, you shouldn't be reading this thread anyway!
Still SMAA is universal, so no need to implement proper AA for all brands.

@JHTrucker
I can't but agree with you there mate! I have supported quite a lot of mappers with Map Editor
backgrounds! Why did I have to do that? Because SCS deliver with it's Editor only the area they
themselves have mapped. No extra support for people wanting to map areas outside. Sure, SCS
made these games mod'able, but they aren't supportive, when it comes to information or the
resources to do it! The game files aren't very exhaustively documented either, I think!
