If you have multiple monitors connected and don't use Nvidia Surround, but only want to run ATS or ETS2 on one of them whilst using the other monitors for other things, do this:

Edit your global config.cfg
uset r_output "-1" <-- game default

-1 = output to PRIMARY monitor.
0 = first connected monitor.
1 = second connected monitor.
2 = third connected monitor.
3 = fourth connected monitor.

Extra info in regard to graphics adapter selecting provided below by BenganJ:

One can in fact have total control of where the output from the game goes, even if you have more than
one graphics card and a multitude of monitors. I have an Intel card on the MB, so I could
connect a monitor to it and direct the output there if I wanted!

uset r_adapter "-1" <-- game default

-1 = System Primary graphics adapter.
0 = First graphics adapter.
1 = Second graphics adapter.
etc
