[DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
here is the cab dual screen setup screenshot
Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
I downloaded the NO AA file a little improvment but still unplayable (25-28 fps instead of 20-25), is there anything to do ?
Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
@BenganJ
I think that it is related to the NPI setting in 1.37.1.0s, but a black object appeared several times.
(Appears at 27 minutes 48 seconds of the video updated on today's YT)
Even if it rains at 1.37, there are no raindrops on the front window, side windows or mirrors.
It didn't matter whether there were rain or lightning related mods.

Interesting! I have been running the ETS2 1.37 during the whole Open beta period
and now also in the final version. Let me check this out!
I did the same with ATS v1.37 too and I have been driving the final much longer too!
EDIT: I have NO such problem my friend. Watch the video!
Could it be the SZM map causing this phenomenon?

Is there a way to go back to directx 9 without downgrading to 1.35 ?

@alonzam99
NOPE! And mind you, DX9 is less effective than DX11, so it would only make things worse!

Rain is Rusmap 2.0.
I was going east to Moscow. The same applies to my home garage (Dortmund). It is the same even if you change the car model.
But there are many things I do that do not happen to others. :(

Can you test to download the multimon_config.sii file for single monitor in Step 2,
first post, and see if your present one has been destroyed somehow? And also check
that you still have these set as they should in config.cfg.

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
Single ultra wide and Dual monitor AA setup with the driving position offset to the left for LHD or right for RHD.
Update 24/06/2020: RHD file added.
The rendered single image has the centre of it's projection offset to the left. Making the driving position biased to the left of a single ultra wide monitor or on the left monitor of a dual setup.
Move your actual ultra wide monitor towards the right to line up the new on screen driving seat position with yours.
This view will still rotate around the driving seat, like normal, and not around the centre of the truck cabin.
You get a better wider view than standard.
If you have a dual monitor setup then you already have the left monitor in front of you and the right to the right but angled at 45 degrees. Now adjust the right monitor to be inline with the left monitor as if they were one ultra wide monitor.
The attached file contains 2 multimon_config.sii files. One for single and one for dual.
Dual can be used for both single and dual monitors if required. In that case the menu/advisor overlay will be on the left of the single monitor and on the left monitor for a dual setup.
Note: This setup is just 1 rendered image rather than 2 for dual. So dual setups will need to use Nvidia surround bezel correction as there's no bezel correction setting in these files. Also, 1 rendered image will give higher fps than the standard 2 rendered images for dual setups.
As with all single images, the wider they are the more stretched they become.
See attached low quality pic (3840x1024) to illustrate the difference between the standard single view (top) and this new view (bottom).
In game FOV is set at 95 (Bottom). That looks high, but isn't, due to the way the image had to be manipulated.
By moving the centre of the projection we need to zoom in the image which makes its FOV lower than in game. Increase in game FOV to compensate.
FOV=95 is about the same as original FOV=75.
So just add ~20 to your normal FOV and it'll be the same.
If you'd like to move the offset left or right, then edit this line:
LHD - frustum_subrect_x: 0.310000 <-- 0.000000 to 0.600000 only!
RHD - frustum_subrect_x: 0.110000 <-- 0.000000 to 0.600000 only!
