Single and Multi monitor AA setup with integrated drone view (Updated 10/04/2020).

See below pic to illustrate.
The bad news is the truck isn't displayed when the camera is outside the cab view, but the truck shadow is, the view is small enough to not be bothered by that?

What's in the attached file:

Single.AA V4 Drone V2\multimon_config.sii
Double.AA no bezel set V5 - Drone V2\multimon_config.sii
Triple.AA no bezel set V5 - Drone V2\multimon_config.sii
Drone v2 README.txt

The drone view can be relocated anywhere on the screen(s).

monitor_config : _Drone.View {
normalized_x: 0.000000 (0.0 to 1.0-width) *** see note.
normalized_y: 0.000000 (0.0 to 1.0-height) *** see note.
camera_space_offset: (0.000000, 50.000000, 15.000000) (increase or decrease 50 for height adjustment in metres)

*** Note:
Single monitor - normalized_x: 0.000000 (0.0 to 1.0-width)

@BenganJ - just noticed this post at scs - want to make his day?
If amd user and has eyefinity setup it'll still work but no AA.

Multiple monitors
#1 Post by lap1537 » 31 Mar 2020 14:42

If there is a way to have multiple monitors, I haven't found it. If there is none, I would like to suggest SCS Software to include in a future version the capability to have the option of at least a second monitor were the map and other notifications can be available as your drive your truck on the main monitor.

@BenganJ - In regard to dual+map

"so will there be a significant FPS drop using this scheme?"

My quick test, running windowed mode to get resolutions right and so no AA.
Single+map mod (map on top of drive screen)=89 fps
Double.AAv4+map mod (map over right side of drive image)=47 fps
Double.AAv4.RA+map mod (drive screen and map screen)=73 fps

So anyone running dual and wants to use 1 for drive and 1 for map will see a good fps increase.
Because of AA the Double.AAv4.RA has 5 screens setup (3 are zero height & width and 1 full res AA.Enabler) but only first is rendered, the rest are still calculated somewhere in the gfx engine and hence why it isn't the same fps as a single screen when both rendered resolutions are 1920x1080.

@BenganJ

Today, I repeated the test for about 5 hours from morning.
It is the same route as yesterday, but it falls in the same range to fall to 20fps, but the point of occurrence may be off.
This Video is a combination of DLC and Map mod without changing settings such as NPI and Config.cfg after creating a new profile.
I think that testing has already been exhausted.

(Only Bengan's BG mod is used)

No map mod.
It is 20fps even at the time of aerial photography by warp.
