[DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
@BenganJ
I re-installed the driver with a clean install. When i used the settings as before my game crashed in a couple of seconds. If i set the Antialiasing to 4x [4x Multisampling] and 4x Sparse Grid Supersampling i can run the game, also i have set the r_buffer_page_size to 30. And no crash at this moment.
But............ still no AA at the wires. If i look good at my screen i have from bottom to middle AA and above there no AA.
As i asked earlier could it be a resolution thing? Because i run on NVSurround 4320x900 and the multimon config is programmed voor 1050 and more?

@faxoli
Welcome! Sadly I don't bother with any extra tinkering with image enhancements,
but maybe some other people here can advice on that HDR department!
@Pancreas
You can't have partial AA, either you have it or NOT! The clean install of the driver,
was that ticking the clean Install when installing the driver. There's also one other
alternative, but that one is harsh as it means cleaning up all before installing the
new driver. The DDU method! I won't recommend you to do it though, as the normal
Clean Install through the driver itself should have worked. We pause here temporarily.
I have saved all your settings and screenshots here and I am going through them again
a bit later!
EDIT: About the resolution when using triple monitor setup, I will leave for JHTrucker to
answer. He's the expert on that!

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
Thanks for the PM again @JHTrucker, I'm very pleased with my current triple configuration but I will try the width reduction settings you have posted to give some more feedback on performance gains :)
My next challenge is finding GFE filter settings I am happy with. I suspect that will be a never ending fight!

@Pancreas
For AA to work you just need fullscreen resolution, not windowed.
So my 1280x1024x3 monitors work as 3840x1024 or 3072x768 or 2400x600.
Lower full screen resolutions, other than native, will introduce blur the lower you go but will still have AA.
Try just one monitor to eliminated nvidia surround. 1440x900 i assume is your native res? or try your 4K.
Use the single.AA file from step 2.
And using just the basic NPI settings in step 1 is enough to make a massive difference to image quality. So don't go further if you can't see AA applied, it won't fix it.
EDIT: Also can you just clarify "I re-installed the driver with a clean install" that you picked advanced and ticked the box for a clean install within the nvidia setup?
All monitors, single or multi are all the same as long as the multi's are joined as one big resolution (TH2GO / nvidia surround) and the game see's that resolution (and you must use my custom configured multi_monitor.sii file from step 2).

@Foxman
I'm not so sure about the width reduction idea now... i set it up just to try without driving around.
Seems that when the sun is low in the sky the blank edge gets a warm glow, sun rays!.
Still, perhaps someone will like the effect...

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
@BenganJ - Can you change your game resolution from 1920x1080 to 1440x900 to see if you see AA?
I can't get that res full screen.
Just a thought as the in game UI is 1440x900 as shown in the files when modding stuff.
It shouldn't matter though...

Interesting! I lose AA totally if switching to 1440x900 from 1920x1080! Check video:

@BenganJ - Try another full screen res, 1280x1024 or 1280x720?

@JHTrucker
They are NOT as bad as 1440x900, but I am not sure I get proper AA, but I might be wrong,
as the resolution is so low. And mind you 1280x1024 is NOT a 16:9 aspect, 1280x720 is, but
to me they looked the same AA wise!
