Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
everything works fine but I find it annoying to read the models and can it be changed right in front of the mask?
Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
@LuzikSebastian - Sorry, I don't understand what you are asking... it sounds like a reply to another topic by mistake?
If it's an NPI AA question, can you supply a picture of the problem?

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
I have uninstalled the driver and reinstall it, it was clean installation through DDU but still problem as it.JHTrucker wrote: ↑April 23rd, 2022, 4:36 pm@t2patel - I'm running 2.3.0.13 and driver 472.12, the last one available for my gtx760.
I've only ever had to re-apply NPI after a driver update, not an issue anymore...
My driving pc isn't connected to the internet, steam runs in offline mode, so nothing changes for me unless I want it to. I connect it to the internet for game updates only.
Your problem sounds like something (Geforce Experience?) is "optimising" your games when you run them...
Or driver is updating and rolling back and therefore losing your NPI settings.
OR
Are you importing your settings from a backup file?
If so, don't, just set the game profile back to it default NPI settings and then manually add the required settings. If that works, export that as your new backup.
Your current backup may have a settings that's not compatible with NPI version or driver version and resets itself after each reboot?
OR
Uninstall driver and then reinstall it selecting 'clean install' in advanced options and not 'express install'.
Then manually apply NPI settings and export for backup.
At present, I am importing my settings from backup file, let me try once again enter manually the required settings and export that as new back up and confirm to you. I will also check Geforce Experience setting.
I will update here soon.

Thanks, JHtrucker. My issue resolved by doing manually entering all required NPI settings & update my driver to version 472.12
Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
@t2patel - Glad you got it fixed. Now back to enjoying the drive!

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
Hello clever people.
Please could someone clarify the current situation vis a vis Anti-aliasing and the latest version of the game and nvidia driver it will work with.
It seems from the explanation at the start of this thread, that only 1.42 will work and no more than the 466.xx nvidia driver.
Is this the case ?
So we can't use the new DirectX 11 version OR latest dlc upgrades, or any of the latest nvidia drivers ?

i have all updated and still works like before
Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
@Gabe777 - The difference between driver versions and NPI versions are only to do with 'other' settings that aren't required for this AA to work. So you can use the latest driver and NPI for STEPs 1, 2 & 3.
@Arayas - Please can you edit the first post:
"Works with game versions 1.36-1.44"
Thanks.

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
If someone could pleasy help me again. Using a triple here and everything is working fine because of your help.
But: It seems that I sit to much in front and can't get back enough with the seats.
Monitors are triple 1440p
Formerly I sat 630 mm away from the monitors, now 540 mm
Bezel thickness is the same as before
Display with is the same as before.
If turning the truck into a corner everything looks very washed out. It looks so awful because of that.
Now I have this multimon config:

Code: Select all
SiiNunit
// Triple.AAv5.100
// These two lines must be set in config.cfg when using
// this multimon_config.sii file only.
// uset r_scale_y "1"
// uset r_scale_x "1"
//
// We need 4 rendered images (max game can do).
// AA.Enabler has to be the 5th image (unrendered)
// to prevent memory leak.
//
// horizontal_fov_override: 0.000000 - Set the same FOV for:
// Center.AA, Left.AA & Right.AA ONLY.
// OR keep ALL FOV values at "0.000000" and use the games
// F4 menu option to set your desired FOV and also have a
// working ZOOM feature.
//
// "Dummy" & "AA.Enabler" are required but not displayed.
// DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING IN THESE!
//
// Adjust bezels to suit your setup (my example 10mm bezels).
// monitor_config : _Left.AA {
// heading_offset: 3.500000 <- My Bezel (4.0 moves closer
// to center / 3.0 away)
