[DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
@NeoChozo - You said "I can honestly don't see any difference between High and Medium in quality"
Sorry to point this out as you'll be unable to 'un-see it' once you know...
Mirrors on high quality have rotating wheels on the traffic as they pass by you.
Mirrors on medium quality don't have rotating wheels. They just slide past.
EDIT: If you'd like to share your gsync settings then please do so in here:

I both thank you and hate you for saying this to me...JHTrucker wrote: ↑September 7th, 2021, 10:54 am@NeoChozo - You said "I can honestly don't see any difference between High and Medium in quality"

For the Gsync settings, I found an absolutely awesome guide that really helped me outn and explained everything, I post the link in your other topic
Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
@NeoChozo - Thanks for that, I just thought it would be better in one central topic rather than odd posts here and there.

@JHTrucker @NeoChozo thank you very much for your help
Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
Not only that. Many other details, like tunnel lights not showing up in medium quality, ambient light not updating, background landscape dissapearing sooner, etc.
But again, mirrors are not an important part of the immersion since you rarely will pay attention to those details.
If this was an AAA game i would say that it may be worthy for a person obsessed with quality, but since its not the case, pretty the opposite, mirrors can be set to medium
to save a lot of performance. Reflections, specially on mirrors are the major hit when it comes to fps lose
(thats also one of the reasons why i always remove side mirrors, hood mirrors, and every single mirror except the side ones, also i like immersion and i dont care if i
need to look left or right, like in real life...).
Same could be said about having AA on mirrors.. and btw, i have medium quality on mirrors and i never got the AA on mirrors to actually work.
But having AA on mirrors.. same situation as i said before.
As for shadows.. its nonsense to set them on ultra. Shadows in this game are the most horrible thing ive ever seen and not even on ultra they look like actual shadows.
Its a waste of performance to go beyond high because you are not going to notice almost any difference at all.

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
With those specs, you should be able to run the game almost at max settings with constant 60 fps. You are doing something wrong!!

@tantalus - You said "i have medium quality on mirrors and i never got the AA on mirrors to actually work."
That's because you need MIRROR RESOLUTION on MEDIUM = 100% scaling for mirrors. Then Mirror Quality at medium or high. It's all in the first post.
A 1650 cannot do 1920x1080 4xAA @ constant 60fps. That's based on BenganJ's setup of 1660ti rather than guessing. A 1650 is a lot weaker.

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
How can you tell if the AA is working or not. Ive imputted all the data thats on here but to me it just looks the same as when i used ATS own AA.
Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
If you look at the power cables you will be able to tell. They should be nice and smooth and not like someone has come along and laid a set of stairs down.
Open both and then you can go back forth to see the changes instantly.
