Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
@BenganJ I'm not sure what you mean by "they have blurred things a lot" in the new update... Looks more or less the same as before, not only that but I'm starting to like the new lighting more and more, crazy right? :) Besides, I am using 0.50% sharpening from NCP and no longer use negative LOD bias from NPI and looks very good to me. (latest driver 465.89).
Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
Many people have been complained that now dashboards are more difficult to read than before, for example. I think that is what BenganJ was talking about. And i completely agree.
I didnt even need to play on 1.40 to see the terrible changes. I just need to watch a youtube video... but it doesnt matter. The game looks fantastic... (note the sarcasm).

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
I'm playing on a laptop with 1336x768 screen resolution and a 940mx graphic card and I can't seem to get the AA to work. I followed all the steps 2 times. Isn't my graphic card supported?
Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
@Spreadwheat
Well, I don't think it has to do with your 940mx card, might have to do with the resolution, but I'm not sure.
Read the following post by JHTrucker. There's no mention there about your resolution setting, but there are
problematic ones. Let's see what JHTrucker has to say about it when he comes here the next time.

Also, can you take a screenshot when you have some power lines in the sight from the cabin, so that we
can see your present result?

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
@Spreadwheat - Set game resolution to 1280x720 fullscreen instead and increase -ve LOD or sharpen to remove the extra blur that will cause.
@BenganJ as per that linked post, the first line is "res width > 1280 but < 1920 don't get AA".
Perhaps change the first post note for --> Currently 1440x900 and 1680x1050 monitors....
To this?
If your native monitor resolution is 1366x768, 1440x900, 1600x900 or 1680x1050 (single, double or triple setup) then you won't get AA applied. Possibly due to the game being hard coded with 1440x900 internally? For possible workarounds, check this post: viewtopic.php?p=16544#p16544
I'll add the below res table (i made sometime ago) to that post.
1280 720 AA
1280 800 AA
1280 1024 AA
1366 768 NO AA
1440 900 NO AA
1600 900 NO AA
1680 1050 NO AA
1920 1080 AA
1920 1200 AA
2560 1440 AA
3840 1024 AA

@JHTrucker
DONE!
DONE!
Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
@JHTrucker
Could it be that with the introduction of the new lighting system in 1.40, that SCS has deprived us of
the possibility to use the NPI Negative LOD Bias settings, to get LOD changes of more distant textures,
due to they having to blur the rendered image for more distant objects to create some form of haze?
I also ought to stop creating these long, long sentences!

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
@BenganJ - I'm sorry to say this but i'm ok how it looks... because with 2xAA you need all the help you can!
Do you have DOF on? That creates a mid distance blur... just checking!
I may have something for you to test soon(ish) once i can see changes are actually happening on my screen.

@JHTrucker
Yes, I have DOF activated, but going to test without it to see if that helps. Thanks
and looking forward to what you you have to offer later!

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
So I changed my res to 1280x720 as suggested by @JHTrucker and it worked.
Here is a SS:
Sadly, I got a massive impact on my fps from 60 to not even 30 and a lot of extra blur.
I'll try make some graphics adjustments to see if I can get better fps, cause the new AA is very good!
