@Tapir

Yes, but re-read my previous post, can you confirm that too?

EDIT: Nah, it was too good to be true! DAMN! But it is OK with
that Road Runner scheme, so I will open up the first post and
also inform about this workaround! :D

@BenganJ

Thanks Mr B,

Re: your update first post in red - please delete 'truck repairs' from the advice given. Servicing and repairs not an issue and entry does not require re-scaling.

@Road Runner

Thanks for pointing that out! I was just about to ask some of you to
proof-read the first post now, after all changes I've made lately!

Please do that folks!!!!

ATS has the glowing vegetation outlines when headlights are on... perhaps not ETS2... i'll have to have a look and show you a screen shot of what i mean.
However, it seems ETS2 and ATS don't share the exact same code base when it comes to rendering so that might be the reason for above.
The reason i know this is because i got ATS working as SCS intended with AA no problems... then did the same for ETS2 1.36 and back to flipping gfx!

If it's stupid but it works... then it's not stupid.

What did i do? Used multimon_mode "4" and modded the multilonconfig file to just have one monitor... worked ATS... Failed ETS2.
After being annoyed for a while, i thought well i could just set multimon_mode "1" and both ATS and ETS2 work flawlessly (i hope!).

So open your game config.cfg and change uset r_ multimon_mode "0" to "1"

EDIT Also you need to make sure that uset g_menu_aa_limit "8" in config.cfg is set so AA is applied to all images.

You can have what ever background you like!
In and out of dealers etc etc.
Please confirm this is working for you guys.

@JHTrucker

Once again, thank you for your report of effeorts to get this thing better and better!
I'll check it out a bit later1 :D Come to think of it, the background theme was split
in several parts, like it was rendered for several monitors.

EDIT: I checked this by changing multimon_mode "0" to multimon_mode "1", but
when I went to a service station and went into the truck config, I still got the
split screen and afterwards I got flipped graphics!
