@RunnyPilot
Can you just test to change r_vsync from "1" to "2" and lower r_sun_shadow_texture_size from "8192" to "4096".
These changes will limit the frame rate to a constant 30 FPS and relieve the game from the FPS drop caused by
the larger shadow texture size.

I'm sorry, but I did just mention that I don't like playing in 30FPS. I will decrease the shadow texture size tho and see if that helps.BenganJ wrote: ↑March 24th, 2021, 10:53 pm@RunnyPilot

I'm playing at 30 FPS all the time with a damn smooth experience. My opinion is that
the best is to get a stable, constant FPS. With your r_vsync set to "1" you will get a
lot of stutter and potentially screen tearing. I don't get any of that, so please at least
test it!

Okay, I'll give it a proper test tomorrow. Quick question, how do I reduce the input delay at least? Cause it's horrendous in 30 FPS xDBenganJ wrote: ↑March 24th, 2021, 11:13 pm@RunnyPilot

Input delay? Steering wheel, mouse, keyboard? I asked you to limit the OUTPUT
of the number of frames per second, NOT limiting the INPUT at all.

Tried 1.40. Got a nice stable 19fps. Going back to 1.39 or might just quit

@mgysgtdev
That's making me sad! Why don't I get that kind of FPS drop, no problem with that here.
Did you start with the old config.cfg or if you let the 1.40 create a new structure, then
you have to copy the old config.cfg over!

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
I have my vanilla settings in my documents ETS folder (for mapping reasons) and i use that for testing also with all ultra settings. ( the ETS folder on D drive has NPI and stuff for playing).
I am not gonna comment on FPS, that's hardware related, but despite the excitement almost to orgasm level in SCS forum, the update looks AWFULL. The BLOOM is almost crazy and is all wrong.
I cannot see the lights of my truck in greek tunnels, like in the game, but BRO!!, you don't have in the game the lights from those tunnels!, you have a piss-weak lamp in all of them and still cannot see your lights. And yes, day light in tunnels. ONLY in ETS!
So lets draw the lines here:
1.DX11 yes, but half implemented (no AA and other tools to use the full power of it)
2.FMOD, yes, but buggy and half implemeted (trucks and almost all sounds are bad)
3.Light...yes, but poor and half implemented.( this are updates to STATIC lights, the dynamic ones are still shit, like AI lights going through bridges and Trucks)
Keep them going!

@BenganJ - I'm still on 1.39 so can't comment on new console... until i can get some more mobile data, but might not bother, seeing the glowing reviews.
Reflections % - I'd guess the reflections may get AA @ 100 and no AA at other values, just like the mirror resolution on medium (100) for AA. But only scaling @ 100 is required for image AA.
Speaking of reflections... does that now mean we can see our truck reflected in the bus rear window when waiting a lights? or are we still a vampire?
