@skycamel

Welcome to the forum! I have pretty much the same CPU and amount of memory as you have, but
I wouldn't dream of running a triple monitor setup with my GTX1660Ti, but if you can do it with a
GTX780Ti .....! No seriously, applied AA ALWAYS drain the system on FPS and the reason you loose
AA with 4800x900 is probably because internally the game uses 1440x900 for UI, BUT I'm a bit of
guessing here. I want you to wait for our multimonitor expert, JHTrucker, to chime in. I'm sure he
will give you valuable information. So, stay put!

@BenganJ - Not sure what i'm replying to... i only see your post replying to @skycamel and nothing more.

My GTX760 2gig runs 3840x1024 @ 2xAA @ smooth sync 2 (60hz) 30 fps.
If i use 4XAA it'll dip into 20's often which isn't accepatble - 2gig vram runs out.
If i had a GTX1660Ti i could run 4xAA without issue. Game LOD's max 2 not 15! and others (tree/mirror distances) kept to realistic levels.

4320x900 or 4800? isn't that much bigger.

I supplied a possible work around for 1440x900 resolutions, added to top of first post, but i can't test them as i don't have them and those that had the issue first, didn't bother to help out by testing and reporting back.

@BenganJ - Aha! It all becomes clear now.
@skycamel 3gig vram might be an issue at 5760x1080 and high textures.
SSAO=disabled?

Forum member Foxman had a GTX1080Ti 3x1920x1200 monitors and managed 60fps with 4xAA.
So given that as a base level, your GTX780Ti won't be able to match it.
4xAA is basically the same performance hit as 400% scaling but with way better visuals.

900 high is the issue with no AA... try others available in nvidia surround?

Try my reduced triple file?, less rendered pixels = higher fps but black sides on left and right monitors.
viewtopic.php?p=17727#p17727
Or embrace 2xAA (like i do) as it's still better than standard game.

If i could workout a way to get only AA on the centre monitor leaving left and right without, then fps would be much higher, but i've tried numerous times over the past months without luck... so far.

@BenganJ@JHTrucker thank you both for the tips
So, this morning I've been playing around with different resolutions, whatever I could find in my Nvidia Surround "Add" button
@JHTrucker
I also gave your setting (3840x1024) a whirl but the image looks somehow strange, stretched horizontally.
So I did some calculations, if I divided 5760 by 1080 I get 5.333333333 I concluded that I should try 3840 divided by 5.3333333 which gives 720
So I tried 3840x720 with 4xAA and bingo.
I tried both UltraHigh an High (with of course SMAA and SSAO disabled and mirror medium, .....)
I can keep a steady 30 fps with some spikes to 40-45 fps. So I changed VSync to Economic so to keep a steady 30 fps.
I got some problems when using UltraHigh, once to game just froze, and once it was like the ground underneath me just vanished, let me hanging high and dry.
I did some short drives with High setting and so far I'm very satisfied with the result.
Only issue is the sharpness of the image, looks kind off blur, so if you have any suggestions ...
Anyhow, I will do some more testing and will keep you up to date.
Cheers,
Luc

@skycamel

Sorry mate for forgetting to approve your previous post! Good to hear you've got
a satisfactory AA and regarding the sharpness, it will always get a bit blurry when
applying AA and earlier version of the Nvidia driver, you had Image sharpness settings
in both NPI and NCP, but lately I think you only see it in NCP. If you can't find it there
either, how about using Nvidia Freestyle where you among other shaders also have
Image sharpening?! I too have r_vsync "2" to get Economic and a steady 30 FPS, looking
damn good here!

@BenganJ
I can assure you, you didn't forget to approve my previous post LOL.
What happened is that after you approved and replied my post I then edited my post for an typo (k4790 instead of 4790k)
So after I edited my post you had to approve it again and I'm guessing at that moment JHTrucker was reading the forum and my post was "gone"
And yes, sharpening is gone with driver 452.xx and also in NPI it's not here anymore.
But I will have a look at Freestyle, never heard of that one.
Cheers,
Luc

@skycamel

Ah, that explains it all! Nvidia Freestyle is a thing developed for Nvidia by the creator of ReShade, but
incorporated within the Nvidia Geforce Experience and you get access to it by enabling game overlay there
and then hit ALT+F3 when in game, I think! Essentially it's ReShade shaders included directly in the Geforce
Experience without needing ReShade, which btw is incompatible with our AA scheme.

@skycamel - 3840x1024 is just my 3x1280x1024 monitors - i don't have your 1080's, so yes you'll see stretched a image.
In windowed mode:
Any number x 900 = no AA
any number x >=1000 = AA
any number x <=800 = AA

Fullscreen 3x1280x720 is same aspect as 3x1920x1080 but like you say, blurry.
Try increasing -ve LOD in NPI to -1.5 or -2.0.

Try with HDR off - doesn't look as good but it helps keep fps high.

In regard to ground disappearing, that sounds like your vram is full (3 gig), shouldn't happen with standard game with your card but map mods with large textures will fill it up quickly with 4xAA applied.

@JHTrucker

Well, if I should preserve my present graphics quality on a triple monitor setup,
I would have to run a 3x2560x1440 = 7680x1440! I doubt my GTX1660Ti would
cope with that!
