(Left FOV/2) + Center FOV + (Right FOV/2) = Actual FOV
(92.5/2) + 60 + (92.5/2) = 152.5
Set CENTER horizontal_fov_override: 60.0
Set LEFT & RIGHT horizontal_fov_override: 92.5

For 22.5 angle file:
Set FOV values as follows (center is your usual FOV):-
Left FOV=90 : Center FOV=60 : Right FOV=90 
Left FOV=85 : Center FOV=55 : Right FOV=85 
Left FOV=80 : Center FOV=50 : Right FOV=80 
Left FOV=78 : Center FOV=48 : Right FOV=78
Left & Right FOV = Center FOV + 30
(Left FOV/2) + Center FOV + (Right FOV/2) = Actual FOV
(90/2) + 60 + (90/2) = 150
Set CENTER horizontal_fov_override: 60.0
Set LEFT & RIGHT horizontal_fov_override: 90.0 

For 11.25 angle file:
Set FOV values as follows (center is your usual FOV):-
Left FOV=105 : Center FOV=60 : Right FOV=105 
Left FOV=100 : Center FOV=55 : Right FOV=100 
Left FOV=95 : Center FOV=50 : Right FOV=95
Left FOV=89 : Center FOV=45 : Right FOV=89
Set CENTER horizontal_fov_override: 60.0
Set LEFT & RIGHT horizontal_fov_override: 105.0 

[color=#FF8000]Important note:
Set in game F4 FOV slider to 40 to ensure full vertical
movement, even though it shouldn't affect the view it
does prevent you looking down if left on a high value![/color]

The attached low quality pic is just to illustrate the difference.
The pic 1 is standard Triple.AAv5 with FOV 60 on all monitors.
The pic 2 is this new Triple.AAv5 Reduced angles file 33.75 with Center FOV=60.
The pic 3 is this new Triple.AAv5 Reduced angles file 22.5 with Center FOV=60.
The pic 4 is this new Triple.AAv5 Reduced angles file 11.25 with Center FOV=60.

This is excellent work! I have been searching for a long time to try and work out how to set up my triple screens correctly. I have 3 x 27" monitors with a res of 7680 x 1440. The FOV of my center display is 53 and the angle between the side displays and the center display is 53. Could you help me with what figures I should be plugging in to multimon_config for my setup. I have tried to work it out based on your settings above but have not been successful so far.

My files are for reduced angles, less than standard 45 degrees. So side monitors are further away from the driver.
You say your side angle is 53 degrees, so they must be closer to you and therefore you must have a tight space for your setup? I'll have to have another look at this, it wasn't easy and took far too much time to workout, i'd hoped that my files would have put an end to all this!
You can't play with FOV values to fix it, it need new frustum settings first then FOV setup.
I'll have a look and see what i can come up with. If what i've wrote is incorrect to your setup then please reply to correct me.

Yes, the red lines are how my monitors are setup. I do a lot of sim racing so only sit 24 inches from my center screen to increase immersion.

I would really appreciate any help you could give. I've tried changing the values but don't really understand what each setting does despite your very good explanation!

Yes i did try to explain, the problem is i'm just guessing this is the right way to do it with lots of trial and error. Scs may well know the right/easy way to do it but don't share any info to help.
Nice setup, i'd be worried that to monitors over heat or is there ventilation across the top for heat to escape?

Anyway, try attached file already setup as FOV 53.

Note: I created this by using a game window 3840x720 to get the same aspect ratio as your large 7680x1440 resolution, so should look ok? Only you can tell on your setup.

Middle pic: Standard scs 45 degrees @ FOV 53.

Hi Truckers,
I just did my first test on my new desktop.
No steering wheel, no pedals, just a new graphics card: ASUS ROG -STRIX-RTX2060-O6G-GAMING 6 GB GDDR6 and a new secondhand screen

I have played the game with in game all setting at maximum except the settings needed for a good AA.
In addition, I have also set the maximum in everything in the NPI setting.

My screen is now 144hz. With the V-sync on 2 ... I usually had 72 FPS and sometimes it dropped to 55-60 FPS in places where it is busy with heavy traffic. But on average my FPS remained at 72.
My CPU was running at around 13% capacity.

Try setting r_vsync to "3" instead and you'll get a steady 48 FPS!

@JHTrucker Thanks so much for this. It worked like a dream! I had to make some minor adjustments to frustum_subrect_x but it looks so much better.

It actually appears to be implemented really well in the game. I've no idea why SCS doesn't make it easier to make changes and instead have it hidden behind a difficult to understand system. Once again many thanks for your hard working in finding out how it works and for providing the file for me.
