I'm not eliminating ferries for good, but i cant have ferry links to SR from Odesa, Constanta, Burgas, Istanbul and Sinop. It will kill the job offers. One is enough, i will see wich one.
Sience the map is growing, is time to use those roads.

I also prefer to use road connections instead of ferries; I'm just thinking of Wombat Trucker, who had deleted all ferry connections and edited RusMap for a haul. So he only had the road connections.

deleting or disabling ferry is easy as piece of cake..

i must say.. roex has to many ferry connection in UA area..

BUT... since long time so called ferrry bug is eliminated and wont mostly affect job market..

That's my opinion too CAPLV. Ferries must go if we have alternative road routes. I'll keep probably Constanta-SR and Sinop-Odessa. Burgas and Mykolaiv will have no ferry prefab, i'll place a company instead and Istanbul will be erased also with the new DLC.

Yes of course is driving better than use a ferry. No question. But at points where ferries are in reallife too, I use them.. For example I like the route from north Germany to Sweden via Fehmarn. There is a little fery to Denmark.. It is logically to use this one instead of driving over Odense..

Or have a Ferry from Sweden to Baltics.

I don't know if the ferry from Constanta to Southern region is realistic, but I use it cause for me is the way over Poland and Russia too long.

In almost all cities truck launchers instead of ferries? Is only something for hardliners.
I still prefer long road tours, I think that is the real meaning of the game as well. ;)
Right now I am also traveling from Vortuka (ROS) to Brazil and I enjoy these long tours, which I enjoy for days on end. ;) ;)
The only ferry I use is Calais-Brazil. Of course, it is essential.
But, where it goes anyway, I prefer to use detours instead of ferries. ;)
