How quickly did you write down first author of map in "distributor of fakes". If you open information about map in Mod Manager, then you will not see any information about VK group there, but there, from version to version, there is information about truck-sim.club, where aldim@tor published first version of RusMap back in 2014.

you need to understand sometime translators can go wild, for some people the post on VK was translated like the uploader of the present map is not the real Aldimator.
Therefore the confusion.

We ALWAYS support legit mod owners and original links.

I can't say for sure right now. I need a little time to digest such a large amount of information that fell on me after my absence :). As far as I know, the "Russian Open Spaces" map has an author and I do not have permission to edit his project.
