Hi

I have been watching "Clumsy Trucking" videos on Youtube for a while and have been very impressed by the quality of the graphics, especially the AA. He has a big gaming pc with a Nvidia 3080 GPU so I am wondering if I will see an improvement when tuning my card using NPI, and see an improvement in graphic quality for ETS2 and ATS.

Also I do feel a little apprehensive about digging this deep in my system.

I have the following system:-

Dell G5500 laptop
Nvidia GTX1660ti GPU driver 465.89
16GB RAM
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10750H CPU @ 2.60GHz
1920x1080 @144hz 27" monitor

Thank you for all your efforts and hard work in trying to improve what is basically a good sim that needs refinement.

@MercDriver

You have the same graphics card that I have, working very good with this NPI scheme,
but I suggest that you just start with Step 1-3, then check that all is working before
diving deeper into the scheme. Please, read EVERY word in these 3 steps and ask if
anything is fishy!

You are correct Bengan sorry for being unclear. The FPS hit in some places is there, also it’s running the look full with a duplicate Error. Thanks for clarifying this, I was just not sure if this was known.

Thanks to JHTrucker for the updated multimon config with super ultrawide AA setup, i really really love the new 6 degree setting, its fits the screen curvature (R1800) so much better!
one thing i noticed atleast on my screen was that the left screen of the emulated tripple screen was not aligned perfect so there was a big white line, right side is perfect by default though.
If anyone has this problem like me i have solution here:

this is how its by default
normalized_x: 0.000300

by changing value to this (for the left screen) remove the white line and make a seamless image.
normalized_x: 0.000400

i dont know if JHTrucker is aware of this already, but i would just share the fix here anyway :-)
Happy New Year everyone :jester:

Thanks for the valuable information. I am going to buy the Iiyama 3466 in a while and looking forward already to using JHTruckers setup and your tweak.

@skyy-v8

Why not the Samsung Odussey G9 49 inch 5120x1440@240Hz 32:9 format 1000R curvature monitor? Supports both Freesync and G-Sync!

or Asus Xg49vq, i can really recommend that screen, had mine for over two years and its a really steady performer, well built and built-in screenmodes too and 144hz :-)
"only" 1080p though but with triplescreens emulated and RTX2080 Super and everything maxed out + NPI AA scheme its on the limit due to bad optimization in some parts ETS2 and ATS.

@FlyingPigeon

What curvature does it have?

EDIT: I looked it up it has ONLY Freesync support and a 1800R curvature!!!!
Do you sit at a distance of 1.8 meters away from that monitor?
