[DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
@Dowler82 & BenganJ
Any NPI settings greyed out are global... you have 4x set in global profile.
But... you have 'app control' setting above it and it should be 'override'.

@JHTrucker
Yes, I know that the greyed out ones are from the global profile,
and that's not the default with 4xMSAA set there. That's the reason
I got suspicious!

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
@BenganJ - He's just set that for all his games in global, at sometime, so not a problem (unless he at some point decides to change that global value to a non working one!).
@Marx - Thanks for comments on ultra curved file. Glad you like it.
I assume you still don't have proper AA?
Going from 1.39 to 1.40 shouldn't have broken AA unless the config.cfg got messed up. Delete it, run the game once and do step 3 again.
Other than that, when 1.38 came out we had a couple of reports of green skyboxes and multiple truck models displayed when using 3 screens. Not the multimon file fault but an old weather mod for 1.37.
You have so many errors in your log, you should at least create a new profile and test with no mods.

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
@BenganJ sorry for the delay, i've been all night trying to fix ets, for some reason none of my mods are compatible anymore yet the game version is the same (topic for another forum)!
Anyway, I must thank you sir, you are a god. AA seems to be fixed and graphics look awesome. Many thanks for your help.

Good to hear you managed to get it going! Now enjoy the game and if you only
have made Step 1-3 so far, it's time to do the fine tuning by scrolling down in
the first post. Good Luck! And you're always welcome back!

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
This is some thing npi is doing from time to time I have stuff “grayed” out. I still select it and set it again(even if it says that’s what’s already set). The grey stays but my npi is working so it shouldn’t make a difference. I noticed that early on when comparing mine to others.
Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
@MrPapaBear
I have NEVER seen that, but on the other hand I haven't updated my NPI or driver in ages.

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
@BenganJ, took your advice and fine tuned the graphics, wow what a difference compared to vanilla, thankyou, you are a true gentleman.
Out of curiosity, with all the troubleshooting you do for this community, plus testing and tweaking, do you get time to enjoy the sim yourself?
Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
@Dowler82
Thanks, BUT when it comes to this scheme I just started this topic when SCS changed to DX11 and thereby ruined our good AA using DX9.
This topic was at that time ONLY to get the best performance using NPI setting and in-game settings. Then a guy at Steam came up with
a Antialiasing compatibility bits pattern and a user here called Road Runner passed that over here. First at that point this scheme came
up to speed again and another guy JHTrucker entered the scene and came up with one solution after the other on anomalies like black
textures, rain in cabin and sunshine penetrating objects. There were also a hunt for better compatibility bits, so a lot of discussions
and testing had to be done. I have mostly only documented and participated in the tests plus giving support and the brainstorming done.
JHTrucker is the one that has done the REAL job here.
EDIT: BTW, the old DX9 topic is still here parallel to this one.

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
@BenganJ - Thanks for that, but I would have never produced anything for these games without seeing your original "almost working" DX11 AA proving that it was possible after all. I'd still be on 1.35 using DX9 AA.
