@BenganJ now that is some very good news! I'm very curious what you have in mind regarding your background map mods!

@Vinnie Terranova

Sadly that depends on a couple of things NOT under my control, so I can't
right now say more than I already said. My Ultimate BGs will just be kept
updated when SCS do changes, as they cover already most of the world.
There will be a similar Ultimate BG for ATS too, covering North, Central and
South America plus Oceania, New Zealand and Australia, and some of Asia,
the eastern part. That's it for now and I hope to give you more info later.

EDIT: In fact, the most exciting with the BGs is that behind the scenes I
also support different mapping teams with Map Editor BGs, so just as with
Septian_MR's new JRR Indonesian map, properly located, and the TerraMaps
teams Turkmenistan map, there will be released quite some more maps
spread all over the globe.

@BenganJ Do you think that in the future EAA will be positioned to the correct location? Or would that be too much effort for the EAA team to repositioning EAA? I'm no mapper so I really don't know what comes into play regarding moving a map mod to a different location...

@Vinnie Terranova

As I am a mapper as well, I know exactly how cumbersome it is to move and possibly rotate a large amount of map data,
so NO, I don't think it EVER will be re-positioned.

That's all good to hear. My theory is that the ProMods Team is split there's the "old" Generation and the "new" Generation, sorry but that's the only word i can find for what I am trying to say.

The old generation are those that don't want change and just see there own "Product". The new Promods Generation are those in the Team that are working with everything around them.

I personally am done arguing with the old generation, if i get answer from one of them i ignore it and wait till someone from the new generation answers. I encountered this in my own experience and reading the Forums, special in the Forum talk about map background it was obvious. The new Generation listening trying to understand and the old Generation, we don't care it is what we want it to be and anyone else follows us. And personal experience when i brought up the sign Problem, that's when i got the full force and the feeling about this Generation Problem. Because not our Problem, we don't care and so on. No matter how much i tried to explain that its a Community Problem and the map that was updated the last and created the Problem, should at least make a afford to fix it. Then the new Generation stepped in and made sure to explain the Problem in a easy but detailed way, and a few hours later brought the temporary fix.

So nice to hear that now you found a open Ear in the new Generation and that they are taking your Numbers for the future improvements. Keep up the good work.

@MrPapaBear

Thanks for the kind words! As I said, I won't bother any more about what they do on the other side,
the case is closed for me. And I know exactly what you mean by old and new generations!

@BenganJ

So you won't be extending the EAA background map? How much space and data does it take to extend the background?

@therobloxians1119

I will! I have even started already when 6.0 was released, BUT, the EAA map is made through MANY years, by MANY people
and they haven't got proper Editor BGs, which means that the scale varies tremendously and some parts are so dislocated
that I have to create the BG, then use that as a rubber sheet, dragging here, pushing there. IT TAKES A LOT OF TIME. And
mind you, I have higher priority work to deal with.
