[DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
@JHTrucker
Yes, I'm well aware of that, but those reflections should not look like that.
I don't know if you watched the video or base your answer on the image.
For me that looks VERY unnatural.
EDIT: And it's not the color of the street lamps, it's more the color of the
headlights!

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
@BenganJ - Yes, for once, i did watch it at 360!
But all i thought was those lamp posts have 2 lamps each and that's what's reflected... but i have rain 'weather quality' settings 'low' because i could see wet reflections of the truck and trailer in front of me and then as it pulled away it left it's reflections in front of me... as i sped up to catch the truck... it's reflection also caught up to it!
So something needs fixing "...in a future update".

@BenganJ
I posted my gamelog yesterday. Here it is again. I hope you´ll have a chance to check it out. Thanks.

Yes, that's for sure!

@Marx
I've already downloaded both your NPI settings and the game log!
I have had a fast look at it, but I also want JHTrucker to have a
look too, so stay tuned!

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
i figured out that shift console closed everything. but then it wouldn't register my inputs from my gaming devices. so i tried closing the console first and then pressing shift console and that seemd to work and still register my gaming devices input.

@mgysgtdev
I noticed though, that to get back in there again, you have to do things backwards,
first SHIFT+CONSOLE KEY, then CONSOLE KEY alone to open console again.

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
@Marx & BenganJ - I'd already taken a look at the log (that's where i spotted drr_strength!).
I can't see anything wrong that relates to this AA... plenty of strange error though!
Did you reset the NPI ETS2 profile to default and just apply step 1 edits?
Test using your 1920x1080 monitor in case there's a resolution issue with 3440x1440.
Or use a window to test:
uset r_fullscreen "0"
uset r_mode_refresh "59"
uset r_mode_height "1440"
uset r_mode_width "2560"
EDIT: When you said "it worked before" were you talking about this DX11 AA and your 1920x1080 monitor?
But now you've bought a 3440x1440 monitor and it doesn't work.
I've tested in windowed mode:
3440x720 = AA
3440x900 = No AA
3440x1024 = AA
I can't go higher than 1024 so can't test further.
@BenganJ - It seems the wet reflections move with you rather than stay static within the scene.

@JHTrucker
Thanks for comment about Marx's problem. I couldn't find any obvious reason either.
Regarding the reflections! Correct and it's like a static pattern moving ahead of the truck. ODD!

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
Hello BenganJ
With a I9-10900, 32gb Ram, RTX2070 Turbo playing in a Philips Momentum 558M1RY 55-inch Monitor 4k is possible to get more than 60fps?
I tried to investigate but there's not alot of things about 4k res.
Thanks
