Looks as if you haven't got full AA. Which level are you using, 2x or 4x? Which multimon_config.sii did you DL?

I use the single monitor multimon_config. And I use '32xS (Combined 2x2SS + 8xMS)' and '8x Sparse Grid Supersampling'

Okay, but we've said here for very long now, that you will ONLY get max 4x level AA, i.e. 4xMSAA+4xSGSSAA,
so start by using that.

I will most certainly do that. Note 1 in the first post gave me the impression that it made no difference.

Note the red line from this quote of Note 1, so no need to use any higher level AA. Also note that below that line, there is ONLY listed the 8x level:

'2x Sparse Grid Supersampling'

'4x [4x Multisampling]'
'4x Sparse Grid Supersampling'

Note: The higher values listed below are currently only providing 4x Multisampling.

This is the same picture with the 4 MSAA and 4 SGMAA selected in NPI. Unfortunately I did not yet see a noticeable difference.

No, no difference. So, either you post your config.cfg and as many screenshots it takes to cover the whole of NPI,
OR you start from scratch and do ONLY the first 3 steps and then check if you get any AA. Your choice!
