Well as far I has understood the 1.40 Update will make problems to all custom models you use. All from SCS will not be a problem..

All light reflection of the objects will have to be redone, cause there are more of it in order to give more realistic lightning.
That is what I have heared from it so far

@MG Mike

That's what we all have heard and that was ages ago now, it doesn't sound better now in my opinion!
All that just to get a damn post processing feature of "better lighting", something that ReShade has
done for ages and according to me it doesn't look better at all. My two cents! I'm grumpy today! :cool:

Yoe mean there is already a mod which does it better?

Hmm. Until now I used the "real graphics mod" or the seasonal mods from Grimes.

The real graphics mod has a better skybox with more realistic clouds and also more realistic sunsets or sunrises.
But to get it from SCS is also nice. You don't need a mod anymore for it..

And Id I compare this I think this time it is a visible improvement from SCS now and then...

The last upgrade with dynamic shadows or what it was, was not the big thing for me.. There I thought that this is hardly Visible and most of all while driving a truck and ride along all the landscape I can't see all the small extra shadows from this update.. So that was big teased by SCS but I was rather disappointed. Now this light thing looks better, cause this. at least what I could see on video or Screenshots..

@MG Mike

This is not a question about mods, it's about post processing the game map data after it
has gone 2D. Just like ReShade does by injecting a hook into the game pipe. That instead
of doing the job on game 3D data, which is much more effective!
