@clear F1

Thank you my friend! But I will need a new computer and especially
a new graphics card to use it fully too! We will see what I choose!

Hopefully you have enough space, otherwise some walls need to come down... :laugh3:

@black-coffee

Hahahahaha! Well, I already have 3 monitors on my desk, so just one of them
will have to be removed and substituted to the new one. Then I have to relocate
the two other ones to fit above the 49 inch'er. When mounted I will show you
how it all looks!

@BenganJ - That's twice your current DSR resolution... welcome to my 2xAA world!

My single ultra wide curved file viewtopic.php?p=20550#p20550 should work fine? 97 downloads, just looked, and no one has yet to say what it's actually like to use.
The Samsung res 5120*1440p is basically the same aspect ratio as my 3840x1024 and so the pic comparison will be similar for you.

Your pc spec looks ok, just a new gfx card? or do you want win 10 as well...

@JHTrucker

Basically I need a new computer and as this one probably will be the last one
I plan to get quite a powerful one. The new monitor has a feature where you
can split the screen in 3 parts, one central 27 inch 2560x1440 one and one on
each side half the size of a 27 inch one. I will probably start using that scheme,
running the game as usual on the center screen. So, hopefully nothing will change
initially on what I have now. With new comp, I will then go for the whole stuff!

@BenganJ
Just remembered i typed this back in May, and so may (pun intended) be useful to go with that info i gave yesterday: viewtopic.php?p=20408#p20408

I've now added that to yesterday's info and linked yesterday's info at the bottom of the Non-Standard screens page for future reference. viewtopic.php?p=17658#p17658

Also... You could still run the game at full resolution with a reduced image width file (higher fps):
Make use of the black (unrendered) side bit. viewtopic.php?p=17727#p17727
