Cool, and what is your findings? You show 1 picture, but I wanted 3 pictures
from the same view and same conditions! You know I hope that you can change
that variable from the console, and after every change take another screenshot
so as to take care of all settings under the same conditions!? I want to be able
to COMPARE!

EDIT: Actually 4 pictures, because it would be nice to compare even for setting
to 0, i.e.NO reflection.

I have tested the following settings in the config.cfg :scenic:

uset g_rain_reflection "0" to "3"
uset g_rain_reflect_traffic "0" and "1" (on / off)
uset g_rain_reflect_hookups "0" and "1" (on / off)
uset g_rain_reflect_cache "" 0 "and" 1 "(on / off)
uset g_rain_reflect_actor "0" and "1" (on / off)

The following pictures are from g_rain_reflection 0 to 3. I don't see any difference between g_rain_reflection 2 and 3. g_rain_reflection 4 is the same as g_rain_reflection 0 and g_rain_reflection 5 is the same as 1 etc.

This photo below is with g_rain_reflect_traffic 0. This turns off the rain reflection from traffic. g_rain_reflect_traffic 1 will of course turn this back on.

And this photo below is with g_rain_reflect_hookups 0. This turns off the rain reflection from lamps and street lights.

The last photo below is with g_rain_reflect_cache 0. This turns off most rain reflection reflection, but does not turn off rain reflection from traffic and street lights.

I have not been able to discover the effect of g_rain_reflect_actor.

Of course, using rain reflection will affect your fps. Especially in combination with many buildings or traffic.

I just need tot find a better place with more rain reflection :yes:
Also not all the different road textures give the same effect.

Exactly! Did you set the Rain Probability in Gameplay options all the way to the right?
After a sleep it's just to wait for the right moment and find a proper place!

No I just switched the rain on and off via the devolper settings

Those settings are all controlled by in game weather settings - low/med/high/ultra
g_rain_reflection 2 and 3 - 2 turns off water reflections... those reflections of trees etc on lakes. 3 keeps them.
g_rain_reflect_actor... you are the actor, it's your truck reflection on or off.
g_rain_reflect_hookups - thought this was your trailer reflection and not lamp posts.

@BenganJ - Your help with supersobes@scs and blurred image/sharpening... he has -LOD at "+0.00 / Automatic" in the posted pic of NPI.
