[DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
The game has its limits, some of them funny. Despite the fact i can use a bluetooth soundbar for everything or my monitor sound system, pretty decent one, this game insist to "listen" just for speakers. I report it to SCS months ago, and from their point of view "all things are fine!" So, ....

Yes, the game engine is REALLY very old.

Hi there,
i wonder if this Method is compatible with the new JBX Graphics 2 for ATS. I have successfully managed to configure my ATS with this instructions but i don´t know if using JBX Graphics will destroy the AA effect.
Thanks,
Johannes

Hi there and welcome! This method has nothing to do with the graphics mods you use.
They are totally independent, so you can use any graphics mods you like on top of this
scheme. ENJOY!

Here's a quick test file for you with FOV 90, there's no AA config in this file as you have AMD gfx. It's probably very similar to what you already have looking at your pics.
You have to angle your right monitor about 10 degrees for it to look ok. You decide.
You'll see that the left mirror is on the left monitor edge and the right mirror is in the middle of the right monitor.
ETS2 truck mirrors are probably ok but ATS truck mirrors, the left is off the left monitor edge in the Volvo i tested it on.
I don't know a way to have that right mirror on the right edge as you want it without using my offset wheel file, which was the reason i made it that way.
For example, if you copy the left monitor settings to the right and then use camera_space_offset on the right to move the view over, you get the inside of the cab looking ok as you want it but the outside world through the windscreen is now all wrong because you are now viewing the world through two perspectives at the same time.

You have a 4 monitor setup using nvidia surround for flight sims i suspect?
But you don't want to use 4 for ETS2 and in order to play ETS2 you have to disable nvidia surround each time so ETS2 runs on just 1 monitor?
Is that right?
If so, then you can keep nvidia surround enabled and i'll make you a special Quad multimon file to replace the single.AA one you currently use so only the monitor of your choice runs ETS2, the rest will be blank.
Does that sound like a suitable option to test?

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
Hi and thanks for your offer.
No i am not using surround yet. I am not playing flight sims. I just want to have as much as content and information as possible for me, so i am using 3 monitors for playing, discord, video, etc. (at the same time). I love to watch multiple YT/Twitch-Streams while playing. The 4th is connected to my PS4 and Xbox and to my PC too, so i can use it to play consoles AND for other stuff too while not playing consoles.
2 of the monitors are 1440p (144hz) and the other ones are 4k (60 hz).
I dont want to use 4 monitors for ETS2, but would like to keep them all active. I just want to be able to choose the monitor for ETS.

Does it matter which of the monitors is the PRIMARY one? If not,
why not try to make the one you want to use for ETS2 as PRIMARY?
I have 3 monitors for the same reason, placed in a row and I have
the middle one as PRIMARY!

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
This is a total guess as i don't have multiple monitors connected to test it myself.
In config.cfg:
uset r_output "-1"
-1 = output to all connected monitors EDIT: PRIMARY not all, that's nvidia surrounds job.
0 = first connected monitor.
1 = second connected monitor.
2 = third connected monitor.
3 = fourth connected monitor.
