Just noticed this in scs blog, will it affect the background map issue?

1.38 beta:
On the subject of maps, this open beta also includes a lot of bug fixes across the whole ETS2 map. Many of these bugs were reported from players from our community, so thank you for your reports! They really do help make a difference for others to enjoy a more smooth and immersive gameplay.

Nope, has nothing at all to do with the BG, more like vegetation on streets and such things!

Be warned the open beta 1.38 will take ages ... before the update is finished.

Expect a couple of hours, better do it over night.

hey Bengan. i got a request for you for the BG for ATS. Could you modify it that it also shows Alaska in its full glory for the Alaska Ice Road map and other Alaska maps?

Sadly Alaska Ice Road map is placed in Canada! Other Alaska maps like Dalton .... is standalone
and I have already started a BG for that, but that map must have been done on free hand, because
I can't register it properly to the BG. I'm going to talk to hawkbs about it!
