By "hanging" you mean FPS drops? If so, that's bad, Galati-Buzau is a SCS road, not Roextended one.

my game also keep crashing with 1.38.
at first crash while starting up.
and now keep crashing when I select ownable trailer or take a game trailer or when I want to go truckdealer.
I have update mods for 1.38 delete a lot of old mods and also delete Rusmap SRmap.
I hope someone can help me and read my game.log because I don`t understand the game.log completely.
I become a little desperate its for me the baddest update.
I even think to start all over again.

I can see that you have SSAO set to High! Try first to disable it as a test.
I have had A LOT of stuttering and crashes due to SSAO being active. As
a matter of fact I just posted about it here: viewtopic.php?p=25900#p25900
Read that post and do the test, then report back here.

I thought with the processor and graficscard I could set it high or ultra.
I set it lower as you ask but it won`t help .
Today I make a first run in 1.38 with a new profile and no problems.
Tomorrow when I have the time I go put the mods in.
If all gose well now its a strange problem and I have to trow almost 1.200000 KM awaay (1.2 million KM )
but sh*t happens.

I did a fast look at the game log and found 1460 ERROR messages, even regarding official DLCs.
Can you do a file validation in Steam, to see that you haven't got a corrupt game?
