Then why doesn't it do that with me? I'm not privileged!
Please, tell me what exactly you are trying to do!

Do we all have SSAO set to disabled whilst using NPI AA?

For me it looks better to have SSAO off, currently, because otherwise the image is lighter.
This low quality pic shows:
Left pic SSAO HIGH and right pic SSAO disabled. Both NPI AA on & NPI AO off.
The red arrows pointing at the large pipework, the base of that pipe is much darker along it's length in the right pic.
The red arrow pointing at the green hopper, again, that is much darker on the right.

To test yourself, find a suitable location and set SSAO on HIGH. The game should reload gfx. NPI AA on & NPI AO off.
Use console and type:
r_ssao 0 <--- disable
r_ssao 3 <--- High.
You should see very clearly the difference when swapping back and forth.

With NPI AA disabled and SSAO on high i see the same as right pic but then there is extra dark details shown elsewhere in the image, you know what i mean so no need to show a pic for that.

It's as if SSAO is lighting the areas instead of darkening them when NPI AA is on.

@JHTrucker

So, you mean that NPI AO has an impact on SSAO High in game. When I tested I
didn't see much difference between NPI AO ON or OFF when in game SSAO was
High. I'll have a check on that again then.

@BenganJ - No. NPI AO is off for me... should have stated that i guess. Done!

I don't use NPI AO... too demanding.
Just pointing out what appears to be happening with SSAO and NPI AA only.

I use 1.78 DSR factors which is 1440p, but when I use it in game I see a little more aliasing on the edges compared to my native 1080p..

@yiannis

I know that other people also have had some problems with DSR, at least some factors.
Check back in this topic and also here: viewtopic.php?p=25158#p25158
Clear F1 e.g. has had trouble with some factors, but got 2.25x working good as 4k.
