@clear F1 - i still think you should test without recording, that might be the issue / something to fix/change in settings.
If recording is only 1 or 2 % gpu usage then when your fps drop below vsync that means your gpu usage is at 100%, so recording won't be helping and just adding to the problem.

@JHTrucker
@BenganJ

Thanks to you guys, it's been improved. :D :D :D

I wrestled with ETS2 for about 4 hours and 30 minutes from morning.
First of all, I changed the current NPI setting one by one from the top and restarted the game dozens of times, but I could not improve it.
Next, I changed the Config.cfg one by one.
You can improve from uset r_sun_shadow_texture_size "8192" to uset r_sun_shadow_texture_size "4096".
However, DSRx 1.78 will get 20 fps at the same location.
Later we will test DSRx 1.78 with uset r_sun_shadow_texture_size "2048".

I'm glad I didn't format Windows! :lol:

@Clear F1 - If shadows are the problem, test:
Ultra --> high.
Shadows below 8192 are ugly.
Ultra with 8192 is excessive - lots of high quality shadows.
High with 8192 may be better - fewer high quality shadows.
AO is applied to all those shadows and will have an impact on fps.
Try a reduced AO setting.

@JHTrucker

Thank you.
I changed the Ultra to high on the 8192, but it still drops to 20fps.
What is the abbreviation for AO?

@clear F1

JHTrucker is talking about this setting.

Quality still drops fps. Test again with performance.

@clear F1

Which version of the Nvidia driver do you have installed?
And also, which version of NPI?

@clear F1

I asked about versions because from version 445.75 Nvidia removed the Image sharpening settings
and also the SILK Smoothness setting, which resulted in NPI updated to 2.3.0.12. So, I have NOT
upgraded my Nvidia driver either, I am still on 442.19.

EDIT: And I won't upgrade unless I am really forced to do it, as I see it right now!
