Good, you have better things to do. Maybe that "it's not us, other maps are creating problems" attitude will not hold forever. It works great for fanboys now, but who knows...
Maybe EuRoadNet will grow, maybe there are mappers around here available to give a hand, and maybe they will not have that Promods perspective (or TSM one for that matter).
Maybe Poland Rebuilding will understand that is nocive for them to be just an add-on, maybe russian maps will grow/improve in time, maybe i will have time to redo Turkey.
SCS is going full Promods right now, after Black Sea DLC (named blke_e.scs) and Iberia we will have blke_w.scs wich is the closure between Italy and Bulgaria....and then?
When you go smaller and smaller instead of growing bigger and bigger, maybe you will understand better the ETS community and be more open to work with other maps than simply reject them.
My 2 cents.

Yeah, but as I said, MY EXPECTATIONS are NIL, NADA, NOUGHT, ZERO!
What I hope for is the new teams and their enlargement of the playing
area, not the OLD GUYS! That's why I have supported those new teams
heavily!

Hello,

maybe I should clarify here a bit.
We were aware that the locations are not 100% correct.

Our developer for Middle-East and Cyprus (Platypus) is relocating Middle-East and Cyprus to fit it into the correct location.
In addition, MandelSoft worked on a new background map.

About UK and Iceland I can not say anything, sorry.

Those relocations are a huge amount of work and were not ready for 2.45.
EDIT: It is planned to release this with 2.46 (next version for 1.37), not 2.50 :D

Best regards,

Sounds good so far,

But the Satteliten background from Bengan is one of the most accurate ones. Exept for Iceland.. It was relocated by Bengan to fit with promods Iceland.

Unfortunately also Spitzbergen doesn't fit to the background.. Are there chances it will also relacated?

@bmwGTR

Thanks for the info mate, but I have quite a good feeling for, what has happened and why
the things look as it does. To remedy the UK, Ireland area, Promods ONLY has to tick in the
Map Editor that their map contains UK, then SCS game engine will automatically rescale
the World Map area of UK to be 1:19, just as they do for their own UK. BUT, when it comes
to Iceland, it has to be rescaled and relocated to it's proper location. As you say, Cyprus and
Middle East should also get a relocation. The problem with the recent relocation up in the
northern Scandinavia is, that it was done in the wrong direction, making the difference to
SCS BG even bigger, hence making it worse. I really hope that they won't do the same
mistake in the south too, that's why I posted a question on the Promods forum about it,
got only a great number of views, but NO answer from anyone at Promods. That's sad!

EDIT: For your info, I used exactly the way I described above with UK and Ireland in my
UNIVERSAL BGs to avoid having to make two mods for different combos. I simply used
a europe.mbd file where the tick for UK was included, but then I had to relocate the
Iceland area in the BG to get it behind the PM's data for the island.

Dear Sir BenganJ, will you look into the BG for EAA, it could really need an update for EAA 5.4 as a huge portion of north east and the newest addition to the south now is located of the map.
Also, whats your ETA on the CH.Map rescale and move? I understand you cant create a BG for it so I assume this is what you're doing instead?

@BenganJ I hope that you'll look into the bg for EAA.

As for the CH rescale, i'm guessing you'll release it together with Wombat's ROS rescale?

@Wombat Trucker

Madame, the south part of the new EAA I'm fully aware of having grown further down,
but the north-east shouldn't be possible for the creators to expand, as it already before
had it's cities on the sea-shore and to my knowledge Brazil hasn't started building
their cities in that kind of environment yet! So Madame, HOLD YOUR HORSES! I will,
IN DUE TIME, see if I will get some modest time left over to deal with this marvelously
unimportant problem any time soon. Cheerio my Dear!

EDIT: BTW my Dear Wombat, have you perhaps been in contact with the creators? Did
you then ask them if they knew about the features scale and location? If NOT, they should
definitely take some lessons by me! Another time maybe, Madame!

Mate, let me put it mildly like this.

I WILL NEVER RELEASE A BG FOR THE PRESENT
VERSION OF ROC (CH) OR ROC! PERIOD!

That is due to the fact that noone will EVER rescale and relocate those maps!
