I know Promods members know alot about anything in the forum but the difference from there to here is we help people even they dont use our maps.
More then that, those users are Promods users and they keep them in dark, just to make them to understand other people are sooo bad regarding ETS functions and use.
BIG MISTAKE!!!!

They don't understand the people will play JUST Promods for while.
Once is discovered, "been there, saw that" people will move on.

I'm doing mods for 2 years but i am an ETS player for longer time that i remember.
I played Promods map sience early versions but after a while i've got bored even with the updates. It takes just a delivery in new territories and here goes the surprise.
Sadly, what a bunch of people built in months, a player discover in hours and there is nothing new left to see.

This is how i installed TSM or other maps, even Mario eventualy.
The only way they keep their work relevant is to encourage people to make map combo's based on Promods. They add something, other maps add something and the player is always kept in the gameplay.
Just Promods? I'll be out from ETS game in 2 months.
I worked 20+ years in sales and i know you can't sale many toasters if those are working just with your bread. Maybe yours is good, but people wants diversity.
And they are gonna laugh when you try to convince them the only toaster that works is yours.

Yeah, i think it is mostly about that they want to be unique and stay unique.. Take this FLD issue we had.. Maybe PM just didn't know better, or they did and used this to make sure that they stay unique and only a few maps selected by them, given "their" FLD Pack to make them compatible, other maps won't be...

Anyway, as you say Arayas people want diversity and in the long run this strategy could end up in dead end road..

And After Bengan had provided the editor background, maps are following the 1:19 way with correct Placements.

I‘ve started to play ETS when TSM was a valid alternative to promods and vanilla ets but now TSM is nearly dead.

@Stilgar

At least the new creations by the new teams will be in correct locations, but also
some of the old are already relocated, The Great Steppe, or will be in the end,
YKSRSK and SRMap. It might also spill over to Rusmap in the connection area to
SRMap. Interesting times! :D
