Wait a little until VP9 (1440P)!
Vsync "2" is smooth at 1080p as BenganJ knows.

@clear F1 - I know it is, but i don't think the game does. Hence the strange issue you have.
And this is why vsync=3 plus tear control adaptive might be your solution at 1440p.

@JHTrucker

I can't post in Bugs, as the requirements are then to have a clean profile, using
ONLY SCS ATS stuff and here I run in a BIG combo and modified original SCS files.
Go figure what will happen! :shock: :roll: :evil:

@JHTrucker & @clear F1

BUT clear F1 explicitly tells the game to run with 60Hz, that doesn't help!!!!

@JHTrucker

I got 30fps on April 3 with Vsync "2". There were three pages after you pointed out.

@clear F1 - What do you have now with 1440p and the below settings?

In config.cfg:
uset r_mode_refresh "60"
uset r_vsync "1"

In NPI set:
NPI frame limiter to default
Vertical Sync to 'Use the 3D application setting'
Vertical Sync Tear Control to 'Adaptive'.

Now test:
In config.cfg:
uset r_mode_refresh "60"
uset r_vsync "2"

In NPI set:
NPI frame limiter to default
Vertical Sync to 'Use the 3D application setting'
Vertical Sync Tear Control to 'Adaptive'.

Now test:
In config.cfg:
uset r_mode_refresh "60"
uset r_vsync "3"

In NPI set:
NPI frame limiter to default
Vertical Sync to 'Use the 3D application setting'
Vertical Sync Tear Control to 'Adaptive'.

@JHTrucker

But what can be wrong with that conditional if statement? I made spaces around the equality sign,
but that didn't help. Obviously the game finds that if statement offensive and tries to load a backup,
but fails, therefor crashes. Do you know for certain that such code statements are allowed in that
kind of files?

@JHTrucker @BenganJ

For now, return to 1080p and play.
VP9 I just want to post a video to YT with 1440p, so it takes time but returns to the previous method.
Please let me know if you have any good suggestions.
Thank you two.
