Haha, I think the red wagons gets uncoupled at Chop in Ukraine, and the bogies of the blue wagon gets switched from standard gauge (1435mm) to Russian gauge (1520mm), and then regular Ukrainian wagons join the blue wagon

1520mm railways actually dates back to the Russian Empire, and it’s way to big of a hassle for all of the 1520mm railways to change to 1435mm probably

Exactly this. Back then in the empire they had no outbound connections and used railway mainly for government, prisoner and worker transportation, so they did good. Also during USSR times, railways were mostly used for cargo and Gulag transportation with no real connections to the outside world. And after the USSR they just stayed with that gauge system.

We have that kind of trains in Sweden too, had at least when I was a child! :D
In Swedish they were called "Rälsbuss", a bus on rails! :D But almost always
it was only the first in above train, sometimes two alike after one another!
